Looking at how sad and lonely Zachary was, Grace and Heinz felt worried for him.
Heinz patted Zachary on the shoulder and comforted him, "My subordinates are looking into Yvonne's case too, but it seems that she disappeared after she went abroad. There is no news regarding her and I truly have no idea where she went. I really can't understand, how can she leave the child just like that?"
"Heinz." Worrying that he would say too much, Grace immediately stopped him. "Zachary knows what he is doing. Both you and I don't know Yvonne very well, but he knows her the best. She may not be an irresponsible woman. Perhaps there are some hidden reasons behind her disappearance. From what I know, she is a responsible woman and I think that she knows Zachary is capable of taking care of Maria. That is only why she left for so long."
"Do I still know her? It had been so many years, I believe that she wasn't the woman I knew when I first met." Zachary smiled bitterly and said, "Regardless of what it was, she shouldn't be so irresponsible and leave just like that. At the very least, she should try to explain it to me."
However, this was the truth. Yvonne just left without saying anything and she left Maria to him.
Several times, Zachary was desperate and he went to where she and Maria used to live but there was no trace of anyone there.
After Yvonne left, she never came back again.
Since she had rented out the apartment, it meant that she did not intend to return.
He couldn't find her and reality was harsh. Everyone was telling him to forget about her.
However, he was not someone who gave up easily. How could he give up so easily?
"It doesn't matter. Five years have passed. I don't mind waiting for another five more years. I am a patient person."
However, he could not just sit around waiting. He had to figure out a way to solve this problem.
"Let's not mention this anymore. Today is such a wonderful day. Come, let's eat so that everyone can leave early. Now, the most important thing is that Grace and the children inside her belly are safe, and both of you can live happily ever after." Zachary was aware that both of them were worried for him.
"I've also sent my subordinates to investigate Yvonne. Don't worry, I'll immediately inform you if there's any news," Heinz assured him.
Zachary nodded emotionally and said, "Thank you."
Soon, everyone was seated at their seats.
Heinz took Grace upstairs to get changed. Wearing a heavy wedding dress now was too tiring for her.
"Go upstairs and get change. You will feel much more relaxed," he said softly.
He held her hand and went back to change into a warm and comfortable set of clothes. Once again, they came down and started to dine in.
Meanwhile, William was serving everyone as the host. He and Timothy were having a toast with Nerissa.
"Mr. Yarbrough and Madam Nerrisa let's have a toast. Today is such a wonderful day, drink more."
"Thank you, sir. Let's toast each other," Timothy was also polite.
"I'm too old so I can't drink too much. You guys continue. Don't bother about me," William said with a smile.
Nerissa also smiled, "I am not good with alcohol. Today is Grace and Heinz's big day, I also won't
drink too much."
Meanwhile, the butler suddenly came in a hurry and whispered in Heinz's ear, "Master Jones is here. He is wandering outside, but not entering."
Heinz's entire body tensed up, and his brows suddenly furrowed.
Grace also stared at him subconsciously, "What's wrong?"
