True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1116

Heinz was speechless for a moment. It was true that he was afraid that his mother's death would be in vain then.

She had passed away all alone. How lonely she must have been during her last few years alive.

She had trusted the wrong person and ended up with such a man. His irresponsibility had caused her misfortune. She was depressed from the very start.

As her son, how could he forgive such a man?

Every time he thought of this man, he genuinely loathed him.

However, Grace's words were also reasonable. In his mother's last few moments, she never ranted about this man and she even asked Heinz to not blame him.

Heinz hated Lawrence from the bottom of his heart, but he was still his father regardless.

Just like that, his hatred eventually accumulated and there was no place for him to vent it.

Sometimes, Heinz felt that he was a coward. If it wasn't Lawrence, he might have beaten that person up to vent out his anger. However, Lawrence was his father, therefore there was nothing he could do about it.

He knew that Grace wanted to solve the grudge between him and Lawrence but he was still struggling from the past.

He understood that Grace was doing this for his sake.

He was grateful to her.

In fact, he even admired her. She was also a victim herself. Apart from Heinz's mother, Grace and Alice had also suffered quite a lot during their childhood times.

Lawrence and Candance were irresponsible people. They were willing to neglect their own children just to pursue their love life.

They lived a happy and unrestrained life. In the end, Grace and Heinz were the ones who had to help them clean up their mess. They even had to foster Lowell.

They had long accepted that Lawrence was an irresponsible man.

And now, he came to apologize and expect to be forgiven?

What was he thinking?

The world was full of shameless people.

"Alice, bring your sister in and let her have some food." Heinz glanced at her and ordered.

Alice looked at him worriedly and shook her head, "Heinz, the past is in the past. Don't cling to it. Let go of it. Life is full of wonders. It's not easy for you and Grace to get married today, so you should appreciate it."

She was someone who was calculative. When there was a slight misfortune, she would complain about it, but now, she was actually being kind and generous. She even tried to talk Heinz into letting go of the past.

It surprised him very much.

"Heinz, Alice is right," Grace also said comfortingly. "Don't hesitate anymore, okay? Do it for me."

In fact, the last salvation in the world was salvation for oneself. No grudges could ever be solved if one's heart was still twisted and entangled with the past.

To let go of the past and not hold on to grudges was to free oneself from being chained to the pain of the past.

She truly hoped that Heinz could be happy and not hold on to the past. After all, the past didn't have the best memories for him.

"Grace and Alice, please go in first. I would like to have a word with Heinz. This is something I should do," Lawrence said.

Heinz was breathing heavily. It was visible that he was upset but Grace was by his side and he had no choice but to endure it.

She looked at him and then worriedly looked at Lawrence again.
