Perhaps Lawrence was touched by Grace's and Alice's words, or maybe he really wanted to stay.

He finally mustered up his courage and nodded.

"I think I really want to cherish this opportunity. I want to stay and overcome it."

Grace and Alice looked at each other. They had a feeling that he would not give up such an opportunity.

Alice supported Grace back into the sunroom. Lawrence and the butler followed closely behind.

The butler hesitated for a long time because he didn't know how he would explain it to Heinz. Hence, he finally said, "Madam Grace, what about Mr. Jones?"

"I'll explain it to him. I'll be fully responsible regardless of the outcome, don't worry," she was straightforward.

"I feel that Mr. Jones is still mad. It's not good to infuriate him more," the butler said worriedly.

"No, he will definitely be at peace," Grace knew him very well.

She knew the reason Heinz was being repulsive of Lawrence was because he was afraid that if he forgave his father, it would be hard for him to seek justice for his mother.
