True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1147

"Achoo!"

Yvonne couldn't help but to sneeze due to how cold she felt.

However, feeling his strong arms and firm chest made her feel warm all the way to her heart.

Why did he get back here?

She didn't have time to think about it as she stared at him blankly while he hugged her.

Her eyes couldn't help but to be filled with affection.

Seven years.

After so long, she didn't even dare to stare into his face after returning, despite the fact that she had missed him so much, and couldn't bear to be separated from him. Yet, she still didn't dare to look at him.

Afraid.

She was afraid that she would never have any opportunity to see him again, and that he would despise her and never return for her.

She was afraid of too many things.

Now, he was holding her in his arms as he transformed from the teen he was in his yesteryears, into a strong and successful man.

As for her, whether it was seven years ago or now, she had only loved him throughout the entire time.

Now, under this pouring rain, she finally dared to look at him.

She looked at him in this way from a close distance without blinking her eyes.

Finally, she couldn't help but to touch his face carefully.

Zachary froze his whole body and did not look at her.

The rain was too heavy.

They could talk about everything once they entered the car.

Upon noticing how he neither rejected nor yelled at her, she became braver and called out while touching his face, "Zachary!"

Zachary was startled.

He finally turned his face around to look at her.

When he saw her pale face and swollen eyelids, his eyes were immediately filled with anger.

It was like a raging wave crashing on the shore. It was so violent that it could drown her.

Why did she cry?

Was it due to regret?

Was it due to her feeling dejected by her daughter?

Where in the world was her heart?

In these past few years, had she ever missed him?

Was she trying to surrender with her swollen eyes?

Was she hoping for him to forgive her?

Zachary's cold eyes were filled with rage, but he still carried her into his car.

He shoved Yvonne into the front passenger seat, and then he went around the front of the car and got into the other side.

He then closed the door.

Both of them were soaking wet without any piece of dry clothing.

The rain outside was overwhelmingly heavy.

It was so heavy and it caught them off guard. One just had to stand outside for a minute to drench their entire body.

Yvonne sat in the car as though she was in a dream, completely ignoring the fact that her drenched clothes had stained his expensive car seat.

A towel was thrown at her, which completely covered her head and face.

Yvonne pulled down the towel and raised her head to look at Zachary. With a cold expression, he said in a deep voice, "Wipe your face dry."

Yvonne wiped her hair and face obediently.

"Achoo! Achoo!" She sneezed twice in a row.

However, Zachary's eyebrows furrowed even more.

Yvonne lowered her head. After a while, she managed to wipe her head clean, so that it was no longer dripping. When she raised her eyes, it was still sour due to how much she had cried prior to this.

Seeing that his hair was still dripping as he didn't use any towel, she realized that there was only one towel in the car.

Yvonne handed it over to him immediately. "You can use it first."

Zachary did not accept it. He just looked at her in a cold manner and said, "Take off your clothes."

Yvonne was stunned for a moment, and then her face immediately flushed due to embarrassment.

However, she instantly understood what he meant. They were both still in their wet clothes, which would cause them to catch a cold if they continued to wear them.

She then removed her coat, which exposed her pale arm.

Zachary also removed his soaking outerwear.

Yvonne stretched out her hands in a flurry to help him dry his hair.

Zachary blocked her hands in an instant.
