True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1298

Three hours later, the results were finally out.

Celeste insisted on waiting for the results and did not leave the center.

There were two copies of the report. Cindy didn't even bother to take a look at it. On the other hand, Celeste was reading through the report meticulously.

The entire report was written in another language. Lucky for her, she was raised abroad, and thus she had no problem reading them.

In the end, she realized that she not at all related to Cindy, not even a bit.

At that very moment, Celeste felt her heart sink.

This result made her inexplicably relieved and tense at the same time.

She was not Cindy's daughter, which proved that she had nothing to do with Heinz. But then, who on earth was she?

Who were her parents?

Celeste stood there in a daze. She held the report in her hand tightly, and her face looked pale.

Cindy came over and looked at her condescendingly, asking, "Have you read through it clearly?"

Celeste was rooted in place.

"I am not biologically related to you," Cindy uttered indifferently, "An illegitimate daughter? Am I the kind of woman who gives birth to a child and refuses a loving husband to raise the child all alone?"

She was obviously not this kind of person.

Celeste also didn't expect such a result.

They were not related at all.

She used to address Cindy as her aunt, but now, this sounded particularly insulting.

The fact that Celeste always thought that she was Cindy's illegitimate daughter was never true. If they were completely not related, then how was she going to rely on her anymore?

As they had a verbal agreement before, since the report showed that she was not related to her, Celeste would willingly cut ties with Cindy.

Celeste looked at the report in a daze.

Cindy and Liam were both staring at Celeste. She did not speak and seemed particularly pitiful.

Liam subconsciously turned to look at Cindy.

Cindy raised her head slightly and said haughtily,

"Since the report is out and it shows that we are not related, you have to keep your promise. Move out immediately. From now on, we will cut all ties from each other."

Celeste froze. She pursed her lips and said, "I have one more question."

"Go ahead."

"Who are my parents?" Celeste looked up at Cindy. She didn't want to miss this opportunity to get to the bottom of things.

Cindy was stupefied and immediately answered, "I don't know who your parents are. You were already an orphan when I adopted you, so I have no idea who your biological parents are."

"Where did you adopt me?" Celeste stared deeply into Cindy's eyes, not missing the slightest bit of expression on her face, "Even if you adopt me, you have to adopt me from somewhere right?"

"Northern City Orphanage," Cindy uttered coldly, "You can go check it out."

Celeste was puzzled. After a long while, she nodded and said, "Okay, got it. I will check it out."

After saying that, Celeste bowed deeply to Cindy and thanked, "Nevertheless, I am still very grateful that you raised me up all these years."

Cindy's face looked terribly gloomy and she snorted coldly. Although she was exasperated, she had no place for her to vent her anger.

She could do nothing else but glare at Celeste as she roared, "Pack up your things now and get out of my apartment."

She left after saying that.

Celeste pursed her lips as she watched Cindy leave. She was stunned in place.

Liam didn't leave either.

He sighed as he stared at her, asking, "What are you going to do now?"

Celeste was completely at a loss for what to do.

She couldn't continue to stay in London anymore. Without a guardian, she would not have a place to stay. All the money she had in her bank account was given to her by Cindy. She might still be able to survive on that amount of money for some time, but that amount of money was not able to pay for her school fees.

Celeste did not speak and remained silent for a long time.

Liam didn't say anything either.

The air between them was heavy.

A few moments later, Liam offered, "I'll take you back." "There's no need to," Celeste shook her head.

"Celeste, listen to me. Go back and have a rest. When Miss White has calmed down, go and apologize to her. Even though she doesn't have the best temper, she wouldn't really bear to kick you out of the house," Liam wanted to be the peacemaker.
