True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1315

Gary was leaning on his chair. A window behind him allowed light to enter his room, forming shadows that masked his expression. This made him look somewhat oppressive, and added on a sense of hostility to his already livid expression.

He managed to calm down a little perhaps due to Celeste's gentle attitude and weakened stance.

"Just now, my mother told me that you are going to be my sister. Is that true?" Gary said as he rubbed the space between his eyebrows. It seemed like he was quite conflicted over this matter.

"Sister?" Celeste was dumbfounded momentarily.

"That's right, my younger sister," Gary stared at Celeste seriously. He put down his hand and commented solemnly, "After my mother becomes your guardian, you will become part of my family as well as my adopted younger sister."

Confusion flashed in Celeste's eyes.

She knew exactly what that meant.

Suddenly, she was nervous.

Gary noticed the change in her mood and asked,

"Are you not aware of this?"

"No," Celeste shook her head subconsciously and tried to deny it. However, she pursed her lips under Gary's sharp gaze.

Her teeth had sunk into her lips, turning them a deep crimson that instantly attracted the gaze of others.

Gary was finally satisfied when he saw how conflicted she was. He smiled and uttered casually, "There's no need to be conflicted. It's not too bad to be my sister."

"What?" Celeste stared at him blankly and didn't understand what he meant.

"Why don't you try calling me your big brother?" Gary had a lazy expression plastered on his face and seemed much more confident than before. He seemed to have a well thought out plan.

Celeste was hesitant. She couldn't bring herself to call him that yet.

"Hurry up," Gary continued to tease her.

Celeste shook her head, her cheeks scarlet from being embarrassed, "I don't want to. I won't address you that way."

"It seems like you are eager to have another relationship with me," Gary chuckled, "Fine by me, I'm not someone who will follow the rules anyways. Even though you are rightfully my sister, when the time is right, I can make you other than my sister."

He was doing it on purpose.

Celeste's eyes were full of confusion. Every word he said had made her heart skip a beat. She wanted to flee, but she couldn't help but be charmed by him.

"Gary," Celeste called out softly.

"My dear sister Celeste," Gary suddenly changed the way he addressed her, "You have to remember that since my mother is your guardian, it would be impolite of you not to address me more intimately."

Celeste was dumbfounded. When she saw Gary's teasing smirk, some logic finally returned to her brain. She questioned him back, "Then shall I also address Ernest as my brother?"

Gary frowned when he heard that and refuted, "Of course not. You'll be his future sister-in-law."

Hearing that made Celeste's heart skip a beat.

Her face was so flushed that the blush almost reached her ears.

"W-what nonsense are you talking about?"

"I'm not speaking nonsense," Gary stared at the shy girl in front of him deeply and was serious.

Celeste felt as though there was a large boulder sitting on her chest. She found it hard to breathe.

There was no way he could be even more direct than this.

Celeste blushed, but she was secretly looking forward to it.

The moment she spoke, her face grew even redder, "W-we are still young. How do you know that I'll choose to be your significant other?"

"I know although you don't," Gary told her so solemnly, "So, I won't give you the chance to run away."

Celeste looked at him blankly.

Gary's eyes flashed with determination. In a solemn tone, he said, "You won't be able to escape from me. Just wait. I'll make you my woman."

Celeste froze.

The fact that she was going to be a woman felt so distant.

"Alright, there's something I need to tell you," Gary was suddenly solemn.

"What?" Celeste noticed his sudden change in mood. She didn't know how to respond and kept nodding, "What do you want to say?"

"Since my mother is so determined in this matter, I also will be straightforward with you."

Celeste felt her emotions stirring, "Is there going to be a bloody battle?" "Your aunt is not going to give in so easily."

"I know."

"Are you prepared?"

Celeste nodded hesitantly. She wanted to say something but stopped on second thought.

"Do you still have something to say?"

"Well, she has raised me for so many years. I don't want things to turn ugly for us. I just want to continue my studies," Celeste told Gary her concerns. There was a need to her to find someone to talk to.
