True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1341

Back in the small villa in Oxford.

Celeste went into the bathroom to take a shower. It'd been an hour since she went in but she hadn't come out yet.

Gary was already bored. He'd started grabbing the ingredients that Alex bought and started cooking. He made two dishes, baked some bread and finally, paired it off with a bottle of red wine. Gary was quite satisfied just looking at the cuisine that he had just made.

After putting everything on the table, Gary looked up several times, but there was no trace of Celeste.

He brought the suitcase upstairs and organized his things. Then, he placed a box in the drawer of the bedside cabinet.

When he closed the drawer, he paused for a moment before opening it again. He took out the box, unwrapped it and opened it. Then, he grabbed a small packet from the box and placed it under his pillow.

Gary placed the rest back into the drawer and closed it.

It had been more than an hour.

Gary had already changed into a new set of clothes and cooked up a delicious meal, but the girl still didn't come out. He started to lose his patience.

Hence, he walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door.

"Knock knock."

Celeste's voice was trembling as she asked, "Who's there?"

"Haha!"

Gary couldn't help laughing again.

"Who else could it be other than me?"

Celeste was embarrassed.

"You've asked me the same question twice," Gary asked calmly, "Why are you feeling so insecure?"

"I understand," Celeste answered softly.

"Have you finished showering? If not, I'm pretty sure you're about to shrivel up."

"Not yet." Celeste replied.

Liar.

Gary's eyes flickered and he smiled.

"Since you are not done yet, I'll come in and help you."

"Wait! Don't."

Celeste sounded anxious.

"I'm done showering. I really am."

Gary smirked again.

"Open the door then."

With that, the door was opened.

Celeste peeked out carefully. She was blushing, and her hair was half- dry. She had finished showering a long time ago although she denied it. She just locked herself in the bathroom since she did not dare to come out.

Gary remained calm as he watched her dawdle. He wasn't in a hurry.

"Gary," Celeste called out softly.

"Come out."

Celeste paused again. She took a deep breath and walked out of the room.

She had already changed into a new set of clothes.

She was wearing the simplest trousers and shirt that could cover herself up the most. Her hair was draped over her shoulders, and it was half-dry. She was also wearing slippers. Her feet were small and pale, shining with a healthy luster.

Her natural charms were on full display. Gary's heart skipped a beat when he looked at her.

"Are you hungry?" He asked softly.

"Yeah," Celeste nodded subconsciously. Her stomach had been growling for some time. She answered honestly, "I'm a little hungry."

"You must be very hungry, aren't you?" Gary said as he extended his hand.

His large palm was right in front of her. Celeste stared at his long fingers and clear palm lines in a daze.

"What?"

"What do you think I'm going to do?" Gary noticed that Celeste's reaction was a little slow.

He reached out his hand, indicating for her to put her hand in his. He wanted to hold her hands to go downstairs.
