When Celeste finished washing up and came out, there was no one in the room.
The whole room was quiet, and the atmosphere was frighteningly dark.
She dried herself up, changed into some new clothes and went downstairs slowly. When she reached downstairs, she didn't see Gary.
She called out to him, but no one answered.
She could only look around.
Still, there was no one.
Later, Celeste found the door behind the dining room open. It led to the garage.
The door of the garage was closed, but the car was not there.
Gary had driven off.
He had left her alone here and had left on his own.
At that moment, the two hundred square feet villa felt so big. It was completely empty and she was alone.
Thinking about this, Celeste felt even more upset.
Tears welled up in her eyes, but she didn't stop them from falling down in a pitiful manner.
After wiping away her tears with the back of her hand, she went upstairs.
Celeste did not leave. She knew that he would be angrier if she left.
She went back upstairs and buried herself in the quilt. After curling up in bed, she cried for a long time until she grew tired and fell asleep.
She didn't know how long she had slept.
Hunger woke her up.
However, Gary hadn't come back.
Celeste got up and washed up, only to find that it was dark outside.
She saw nothing but darkness outside. It turned out that she had slept an entire day.
A while later, she found her phone and turned it on.
There were no messages.
Maria and Ernest didn't look for her. She checked and found out that Gary had sent a message to Maria saying that she wouldn't be going back for a few days.
Under normal circumstances, Maria would reply and make fun of her. This time, she didn't.
Celeste was also a little surprised.
Maybe Maria was afraid of disturbing them.
She kept her phone on and put it in her pocket.
Then, she went downstairs to find something to eat.
Fortunately, there were a few pieces of bread and some ingredients in the refrigerator. She ate some bread, drank some milk, and went upstairs to sleep again.
The only thing she could do was lie down. Although she was exhausted, she could not fall asleep. She could only stare at the ceiling blankly.
Two days later.
After staying in the villa for two days, Celeste found that Gary still wasn't back.
She finally realized how serious the problem was. With that, she took out her phone and called Gary.
However, his phone was turned off.
She couldn't get in touch with Gary.
Such a discovery scared Celeste. She felt scared and panicked. Then, she realized that she couldn't continue waiting like that.
She picked up her phone and called Maria.
It took a long time for Maria to answer the phone, "Celeste, where are you?"
"I'm outside," Celeste replied.
"I was just about to call you," Maria explained, "Gary's here. Didn't you say you were with him before? He's been here for two days. Didn't you know?"
"He's been back for two days?" Celeste was taken aback, "I didn't know. Has he been there all this time?"
