True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1369

"Gary, what do you think they're talking about?" Celeste knew that Ernest and Maria had gone to the rooftop, but they still hadn't come downstairs.

As of then, Gary was in her room with her. He wasn't worried at all. As he laid on her bed, his scorching gaze fell on her.

"I don't know," Gary commented nonchalantly. His voice was low, and it sounded like he really didn't know anything.

Celeste naturally did not believe him, "You're so smart. Don't you know what they're talking about?"

"They're in similar situations. Naturally, they will have a common topic to chat about," Gary's eyes and brows were relaxed.

"Experienced similar situations?" Celeste didn't quite understand. She looked at Gary and asked, "How could they experience similar situations?"

Gary looked at Celeste coldly. This girl was no longer as sharp as she used to be. He sighed, "They're single. Of course they must've experienced something similar."

Celeste was stunned. She looked at Gary, her eyes widened in realization before nodding her head, "That's true."

Looking at the beautiful girl in front of him, Gary couldn't help but feel a ripple in his heart.

More importantly, after the three days of separation, he had long reached his limit.

He stared at Celeste longingly. She refused to go back with him as she was worried about her best friend.

Gary's thoughts of staying behind changed. He wanted to leave. He wanted to hurry back to their private love nest.

"Do you know that it's also immoral to show off our relationship to single people?" Gary looked at Celeste and guided her in the direction he wanted.

"Show off?" Celeste was stunned and suddenly realized something, "Are you implying that we're an eyesore to Maria and Ernest?"

"They're smart people," Gary grunted, "They know that we're together, and we're showing off in front of them. They've gone up to the roof, but you still want to stay here. Don't you think it's torture for them when they come back down later?"

Celeste was rendered speechless by his words, and her face turned red. She looked at him and asked hesitantly, "Then, won't it be an even greater eyesore if we go back now?"

Gary sighed lightly. A hint of helplessness appeared in his eyes. He reached out to grab Celeste's hand and gently caressed it as he said, "Then let's just stay here. Go to bed early. Well leave tomorrow morning."

Celeste nodded immediately, "Then you should go back and rest. I'll go and rest early too."

When Gary heard that he had been asked to leave, he frowned, "Are you chasing me out?"

"You have a guest room," She said.

Gary suddenly let go of Celeste's hand and quickly stood up, startling her.

She thought he was angry.

However, just as she thought he was leaving in anger, he walked to the door and locked it.

The sound of the door locking suddenly made Celeste worried.

Before she could react, he had already turned around.

Celeste stood up and pursed her lips subconsciously. She swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

Gary was already standing in front of her. He lifted her chin with his fingers and stared right into her eyes.

Celeste immediately said, "Go back to your room. I

feel awkward already."

She felt that it was too obvious doing it in such a place.

"I know you're embarrassed, but you're mine now. You have to take care of my feelings too, don't you?" Gary whispered in Celeste's ear gruffly.

His voice was so low that it tickled her ears. Something in her heart stirred, causing her emotions to overflow.

Before Celeste could say anything, Gary grabbed her by the waist and pushed her against him.

The two of them were very close to each other. They had only done it a few times, but she could clearly feel what effect she had on his body.

They were so close to each other. For some reason, Celeste felt emotional. She couldn't express her sadness at the thought of how they'd still be separated for the next few years.

"When are you going back to the United States?" She asked in a muffled voice.

Gary froze before asking, "You want me to leave?"
