True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1446

There was a glint in Liam's eyes. His pupils locked, and his heart inexplicably suffocating.

The girl in his arms was heart- wrenchingly sensible.

There was a faint fragrance on her. It was very refreshing, just as how easily it made him impulsive the day before.

"I feel the same too."

"What?" Maria didn't understand what he was trying to say and wanted to verify it, only to find his eyes were shining brightly.

As she had just cried, her eyes were still a little red, and the tears made them even clearer. Coupled with her thick long lashes looking at him cluelessly, she looked looking both innocent and adorable.

"Don't look at me like that." He whispered in a hoarse voice.

Because he couldn't handle it.

He finally understood why he was so irritated after not receiving a single call from her after waiting for an entire day.

Maria was still at a loss as she couldn't keep up with his pace.

She felt as if she was in a dream.

Then, she realized Liam slowly reached his hand out to cover her eyes.

The next second, Maria felt something soft pressing onto her lips.

He leaned in and kissed her on the lips.

She felt an electric current traveling through her body. Her mind went blank, and she felt weak.

She felt really dizzy. It felt absolutely wonderful.

His kiss was very gentle. The beauty was far beyond words could describe.

Maria even felt that if she died right at that moment, she would have no more regrets in her life.

She had no strength at all, to the point that she had to grab onto his clothes to prevent herself from falling.

He kissed her for quite some time before carrying her to his bedroom in his arms.

Maria was frightened by his actions. Was he going to do it?

Her eyes fluttered as she looked at him. She was also very embarrassed as her face was completely flushed.

Worried about the awkwardness, she blurted, "You haven't eaten yet. You can do it after your meal."

Stunned, he chuckled.

Maria's cheeks turned completely red as she took the pillow and hid her face beneath it.

He had changed the sheets. This time it was a bluish grey.

Liam covered her with the quilt, took the pillow away, then whispered, "It's already two; you should sleep. I'll eat a little and go out for a bit."

"Where are you going?" She immediately grabbed his clothes and asked anxiously. "I want to be with you. I don't want to sleep. I can't sleep."

In fact, their eyes were bloodshot.

Liam could tell Maria didn't sleep well the night before.

And so did he.

They were probably bothered by what happened the day before.

"I need to buy something," he whispered. "I don't have confidence in myself. I'm afraid I might not be able to control myself, so I have to make sure I'm prepared."

Maria was confused. "What on earth are you buying?"

Stumped, he looked at her. This girl sure was adorably innocent.

"I'm afraid I might get you pregnant." He said, "I'm going to buy some supplies."

Maria was dumbstruck instantly; she covered her face with the pillow again. Her muffled voice came from under the pillow, "I'll go with you. I don't want people to see you buy that thing."

Stunned, his heart tightened; it ached painfully.

Although this girl was shy, she still thought about what was best for him. Even though his career had hit rock bottom, she still didn't want him to be photographed because of that.

She cared about everything that had to do with him.

But what were his true feelings for her?

Lost, Liam thought if he was too shameless, as he wanted more from her just because they did it once.

Maria hurriedly moved the pillow away and looked at Liam, as she didn't get a response from him.

The expression on his face was complicated and she had no idea what was going on in his mind.

Maria sat up, lowered her head, and whispered stubbornly, "Either way, you cannot buy that."

Liam laughed and ruffled her hair. "Okay, we'll go together. You'll buy."

Just like that, they went out again.

They left the apartment at two in the middle of the night.

In the elevator, Liam stood straight beside her. His tall, upright figure gave Maria a sense of unreality.

Neither of them spoke.

Liam drove her to a 24-hour convenience store.
