True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1541

Celeste blushed. She was embarrassed after hearing Gary's words, but there was nothing she could do about it. She could only glare at him before saying coldly, "If you couldn't sleep well, you deserved it."

However, the man on top of her lowered his head and looked at her. His eyes were filled with burning desire. It was surging within him with a hint of grievance. "Aren't you sad at all seeing me in this state?"

Celeste bit her lips and looked at Gary's handsome face. She said angrily, "Don't push me down."

Upon hearing her words, Gary pushed her harder while his hands started to act mischievously.

"You are too heavy," Celeste muttered, "I am almost out of breath."

"You ungrateful little thing." Gary stared at her. "You were sleeping like a pig last night. You slept so soundly and well. Do you know how much torment I had to suffer?"

"I don't know." Celeste looked away. She did not want to see into his profound eyes.

Gary grabbed her chin and made her face him. He lowered his head and kissed her.

Celeste tried to struggle, but she was completely overwhelmed by him.

Gary shackled her head, and her breath was completely drowned in his. Their breaths started to intertwine.

He loosened his grip a little, lowered his head and looked at her. He whispered, "You don't know? Wouldn't you know? You know that I only have feelings for you, yet you were punishing me. You are cruel. You were deliberately torturing me. It feels good to torture me, doesn't it?"

The expression on Celeste's face froze. She looked a little embarrassed, but there was more of a boundless sense of regret and discomfort in her heart.

Gary continued to accuse her, "You didn't like me and wanted to break up with me, yet you slept in my arms so soundly. Ask yourself, had it been any other man, would you be able to trust them like that?"

His words were sharp and direct. It was like a knife which pierced directly into Celeste's chest. It made her feel like she was about to suffocate.

"You trust me, and you know I like you. That's why you are torturing me, right?"

His words were so sharp that Celeste could not retort at all. She was angry.

When she breathed, she could smell his fragrance. It was so familiar, so familiar that it made her tremble.

His handsome face reflected in her eyes. He was completely right.

She only loved him. He was the only person in this world who she could not let go nor forget.

He pressed her so directly that she could not speak for a while. She could only say weakly, "That's right, I am torturing you."

She finally admitted it.

Gary's pupils contracted because of that.

He knew she was torturing herself too, wasn't she?

He looked down at her with a helpless smile. "Celeste, ask yourself. If I really do have another woman in my heart, would you be able to stay as calm as you are right now?"

Her heart tightened.

She thought that she would definitely want to die if that were true.

"You can't bear to leave me, can you?" Gary continued to ask in the same sharp tone.

She was really, really sad.

No matter what, he was always the one to control their tempo. She could never refute him. She could only lower her gaze and purse her lips. She said in a low and hoarse voice, "Gary, you know everything. You know that I can't bear to leave you, you know I am reluctant to do so, you know that I clearly dislike you but can't bear to leave you, yet you continue to torment me. Gary, that is who you are. You are always acting high and mighty. You think that I won't ever be able to leave you."

"That's right, you can't leave me."

"However, I didn't continue to be with you. You were the one who came to London. You were the one who continued to be in my life."

"That is why you think that I can't live without you as well, right?" There was an extra hint of sharpness in his tone.

"I don't." Celeste shook her head. "I never thought that way."

Gary chuckled and sighed. "Forget it, I'm just a b*stard who is willing to be tortured by you. I can't blame you."

After that, he suddenly let go of her.

Celeste's face turned pale when she heard him call himself that. She was so upset, as if all her breath was taken away from him.

He actually said that to her. It felt even worse than

being slapped in the face.
