True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1540

Celeste completely ignored him.

Gary paused for a while in the dark. When Celeste did not to reply him, he said, "Well then, I won't stand on ceremony. I'll do it myself."

As he spoke, he lifted his quilt and rolled into Celeste's quilt. He wrapped it around himself and pulled her into his embrace. With that, his quilt covered Celeste's body.

"Let go of me." Celeste feared his insatiable behavior.

Gary smiled and said, "Don't move. I promise you'll be safe tonight. I'll sleep with you in my arms. It's warmer this way. I won't do anything tonight. Just take me as a heater. I'm your exclusive heater, okay?"

What kind of logic was that? It made Celeste a little irritated, but the man said it with such self-righteousness.

She glared at him and said, "I don't need you to warm me up."

"Celeste, I am being serious. I can't do anything to you during your period, so you are safe. You don't have to be on guard when you're with me, okay?" He stared at Celeste and said in a low voice, "Give me a chance, okay? I just want to do this for you."

"No." Even though she was warm in his embrace, she felt really embarrassed too.

She had no other choice, so she could only act indifferently.

"Good girl," Gary's voice was suppressed to a whisper. He said patiently, "Don't make trouble. If you move, I will really have other thoughts."

Celeste was so scared that she dared not move anymore.

Her heart was in a complicated position, and she did not know what she was feeling.

Sour emotions kept impeding her thoughts. She never thought that Gary would ever come to England. Perhaps, her heart slowly relaxed after he came.

That was why he was able to slowly grasp her thoughts.

"Yes, that's right. Just sleep well. I promise I won't do anything to you," Gary's low voice could be heard beside Celeste's ears.

Celeste dared not move. Her body stiffened. Gary had no choice but to coax her once more, "Be good, just relax. That's how you can rest properly. If you keep tensing up like this, you will feel sore

all over."

Celeste took a deep breath. She felt a little angry, but she was gloating as well. Besides, he was the one who was suffering.

She comforted herself and said that she could be the one to sleep soundly on this night.

Gary was asking trouble for himself. Besides, she was having her period.

He could not do anything to her, which was in line with his words. She was safe.

She gradually relaxed as she thought that way.

The sound of his breathing was a little heavy, and his breaths blew into her ear. Celeste turned her head over slightly.

"Uh," Gary let out a muffled humph.

Celeste dared not move. However, his breathing was teasing her.

His breathing was a little heavy.

No, it was getting heavier.

What Celeste did not understand was that though Gary was holding her in his arms and wasn't doing anything, he had also overestimated his own selfcontrol.

He had underestimated Celeste's influence on him too.

He was in an awkward position.

Celeste was stunned. She suddenly stretched out her hand to turn on the lamp.

Gary was looking at her with a trace of embarrassment. When the lights were turned on, there was nowhere to hide. He had no choice but to face her.

He pursed his lips tightly and looked at her for a while. His dark eyes were filled with embarrassment.

However, in that instant, he held Celeste's hands and pulled her into the blanket.

Swoosh! Celeste's face flushed red in an instant, and her heart was beating fast.

She withdrew her hand in embarrassment and growled angrily, "Gary."

Gary merely looked at her and smiled. He looked a little helpless but also a little indulgent. "Celeste, I've only treated you like this. I've never treated any other woman like this. I know that you still have complicated thoughts about me and Janice, but I want to tell you that I've never treated her like this. Do you understand?"

What was she supposed to understand?

Celeste was angry, but she was moved as well.

He had never treated any other woman like this before. What did that mean?

It meant that he had only ever had such intimacy with her.

Celeste was embarrassed. She did not care whether she had the strength or not. She wanted to struggle and get out of his embrace.

However, the man was holding her hands tightly, and his eyes were deeply locked on hers.
