Leah felt that Gary's call was a little odd. Leah didn't come back to her senses even after the call ended.
She turned to look at Ernest.
"What's wrong?" Ernest looked at her.
"Your brother was so affectionate towards me." She finally came back to her senses.
Ernest smiled. "That's right. It seems like he approves of you."
Leah nodded. "That's why I feel a little dizzy."
What if they were not right for each other?
When Ernest looked down, he saw how much of a daze Leah was in. He couldn't help saying, "Don't think too much about it. Just wait until we get married. It's normal for you to get close to them."
"Hey, who said I'm going to marry you?" Leah pursed her lips.
All of a sudden, Ernest pinned her to the well. He pressed down on her and put his head close to her ears. He threatened her in a hoarse voice. "If you don't want to marry me, then who do you want to marry? I shouldn't have let you go just now. I should have punished you severely."
"Okay, okay, I was wrong." Leah was smart and quickly apologized to Ernest.
Ernest gazed at Leah intently. He heaved a sigh of relief and said, "It's good that you know. In the future, it's best if you don't say these things."
"But why are you so sure that you will marry me in the future?" Leah couldn't help but ask.
Ernest stared at Leah and frowned. He smiled after some time. "That's because I am Ernest."
Leah was shocked.
His answer was so aggressive and dominant that she could not refute him.
He said he was Ernest.
That's right. That itself was already enough.
Ernest was so domineering.
In the dining room downstairs, the butler had already placed all the food on the table. However, none of the young masters or young ladies had come down yet.
From the looks of it, he didn't know how long it would take for them to come down.
He suddenly heard footsteps as he was thinking about it.
Ernest and Leah came down together. They happened to see Liam and Maria on the second floor at the same time.
The four of them met at the stairs. What a coincidence.
Liam smiled. "What a coincidence."
"Yeah, Liam, what a coincidence." Ernest also greeted him with a smile.
Maria and Leah looked at each other without saying anything. Their eyes held many emotions.
The emotions in their eyes were complaints against their boyfriends. They were filled with love and exhaustion.
They didn't need to say anything. They understood each other.
When the butler saw them coming down together, he happily slapped his thigh. "Masters, ladies, the dishes are ready. Eat it while it is still warm. Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas, Mr. Butler." Replied Ernest lightly.
"Merry Christmas, young masters and young ladies." The butler was overjoyed to see them.
He didn't have to reheat the food anymore. All of them had come down. They could finally start eating.
The butler and chef could get off work earlier too.
