True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1755

Leah was simply a strange girl. The moment she spoke, the two men were at a disadvantage.

Ernest frowned and his lips twitched.

Liam was a little surprised too. He wasn't expecting Leah to say such a thing.

He suddenly choked a little.

Liam covered his mouth and coughed a few times.

Maria immediately patted Liam's back to help him.

Ernest looked at Leah and frowned. He had mixed emotions.

He had long known about Leah's strengths. But he was speechless now that she was doing it in front of Liam and Maria.

She didn't think there was anything wrong with what she had said. Instead, she looked at Ernest calmly.

It was obvious that they had done it. What else was there to say?

Ernest felt extremely helpless. He smiled and said dotingly, "Leah, you startled them. Liam and Maria are shocked." "It's alright," Leah was calm. "They will get used to it."

The corners of Liam's mouth twitched. He had already been shocked once. He felt much better. At least he didn't choke again.

Maria looked at Leah and sighed. "Leah, how could you say such things? If our elders were here, you would be dead by now."

Leah nodded, "I wouldn't have said anything if they were here. I will only say these things in front of you. I would never say these things in front of them."

"Not bad. At least you know your limits," Maria nodded and looked at Ernest. "Ernest, you'd better control yourself. It looks like Leah is protesting."

"Is that so?" It was Ernest's turn to be calm. "Protesting? Even if she protests, she still has to put up with it."

He meant to say that he wasn't going to be polite. He was going to continue executing his rights as her boyfriend.

Of course, he needed to fulfill his obligations too.

Ernest calmly looked at his girlfriend while he spoke.

Leah was shocked.

She felt strange. It was as if Ernest had changed.

He was getting more and more domineering. He was scheming and sharp.

He used to be very gentle and educated. Now, there was a lingering sense of darkness about him.

Leah took a deep breath. She lowered her head and ate and pretended not to hear what Ernest said.

Maria looked at Leah sympathetically.

She giggled and said with a sigh, "Oh, it's true. Healthy love can change people. Ernest has changed too. He's so bossy now. Leah, you have done a great job."

"Thank you for your compliment. You too. You made the popular star, Mr. Robinson, yours. You're better than me."

Maria stuck out her tongue. She was embarrassed to look at Liam.

Liam said in a natural way, "Okay, let's not flatter each other and talk about more serious things."

They were almost done with dinner, and Liam was the first to bring it up.

"Like what?" Leah also became serious.

"Leah, you studied law. Do you think Cindy,

Sinclair, and Monica will be imprisoned? If so, how long will they be sentenced?"

Leah had some understanding of the situation.

Maria had mentioned it before. It was all over the news too, so she had a rough idea of it.

She said a little seriously, "If this was just a financial problem, the possibility of them being imprisoned is very low. However, now that they are being suspected of tax evasion and illegal transfer of property abroad, the problem just got worse. Also, I heard that Sinclair has many lovers."

"The paparazzi in the country found all of his lovers. Countless girls were harmed by him. Now, every woman who has had something to do with him is trying their best to protect themselves."

"In conclusion, the female artists of Theclair Group are all in big trouble, and the husbands of those female artists might join hands to cover up Sinclair's crimes while trying to find more evidence."

"If I had to guess, I think he will be in prison for at least seven years."
