True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1762

"Where should we go now? We can't stay on the road the entire time, right? Will the police come check in on us if we stop by the road for too long?" Leah asked with concern.

After all, she didn't know much about how traffic worked in London. She was worried that they would accidentally get into trouble and end up returning late.

"Don't worry. We're parked in a safe spot. We can stop here for a while and think about where we want to go later."

Maria let out a long sigh and rubbed the area between her eyebrows wearily.

"Do you have a headache?" Leah was worried.

"A little," Maria nodded, "After I heard what Liam said about Celeste, my head started to hurt. I was the one who told you to let the past go, but look at me now. I totally deserve feeling like this."

"Don't say that. That's how things work. Even if we think that we've finally accepted the harsh truth, it'll still hurt us when we confront it head on. I believe that we'll get through this very soon. We're not the type of people to wallow in self pity after

all."

Leah herself seemed to have gotten over the whole situation, but Maria still seemed a little upset by it.

"Do you have any good suggestions? Where do you think we should go?" Maria looked at her, hoping that Leah could recommend a nice place for them to loiter around for a bit.

Leah thought long and hard. Eventually, she thought of a place, and the corners of her lips curled up into a smile.

When Maria saw the smile on Leah's face, she realized that she must've thought of something.

Sure enough, Leah suggested, "Is there anywhere nearby for us to get a massage? Shall we treat ourselves to a 2-hour massage to relax?"

"Oh, Leah, you're so considerate! I think my headache will definitely be gone after the massage. Alright, let's go find a massage parlor nearby. After that, we can rest there for a short while before heading back. Otherwise, I don't think I'll have the energy to face Liam."

Maria was in favor of Leah's proposal.

After that, they drove to a massage parlor. Soon enough, they found one nearby that was open.

When they walked in, they asked for two beds. Then, two female masseuses went up to them and massaged them accordingly.

As expected, the masseuses were really professional. A few minutes after they started to massage Leah and Maria, the two women felt all the tension leave their body and they began to relax. Their mood improved significantly.

Meanwhile, Liam and Ernest, who were both unable to contact the two girls, paced around anxiously.

When the two men met up later, Ernest briefly explained the situation to Liam.

Liam frowned, "Ernest, do you think it's because they heard what we were talking about in the gym just now? Otherwise, why would they suddenly leave like that? That's the only reason I can think of."

Ernest was shocked by Liam's deduction. He frowned and gave it some thought, "It wouldn't matter if they've heard our conversation or not, right? We talked about how we've left our feelings for Celeste in the past after all."

"I'm just worried that they might've only heard part of the conversation. If they only heard the first part, they would've misunderstood us."

When Ernest heard this, his face suddenly turned pale.

He hurriedly said, "Let's go check the surveillance footage and see if that's the case."

Liam nodded in agreement. The two turned on their computers and checked the surveillance footage.

As expected, they saw Maria and Leah appear at the door that led to the gym. It seemed that they had indeed heard parts of their conversation.

After a short while, the two women could be seen leaving in a strange mood.
