True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1792

Ernest frowned when he heard that, and the look in his eyes became harsh. He said, "When did I ever say that I would break up with you? You're mine, and you will forever be mine."

Leah pursed her lips. He said this last time, and yet he still broke up with her. Life was full of uncertainties.

She felt that he couldn't promise her anything before there was a clear conclusion.

Ernest assured her, saying, "Don't worry, I'm serious this time. You'll be mine forever, got it? If so, then I really need to invite all your classmates to a gathering. If not, you're going to end up finding another man behind my back. Well, I won't give you the chance."

"I won't look for other men. I'm a very loyal person, " Leah murmured.

"Then calm down and stop overthinking. Just be my girlfriend." Ernest's voice was low as he said, "I already said it earlier that I'm not someone who's really proactive. The only person who can make me do this is you, so stop thinking so much." "Oh." Leah's eyes lit up and she was a little

excited.

"Celeste has never been a threat to you, and we're just classmates. At most, she'll be my sister-in-law in the future. Of course, you'd end up being sisters as well.

If I don't set the record straight now, you might be affected by it in the future.

Leah, I want to explain it properly to you this time, and this is the last time I want to say this. Celeste and I have nothing going on, do you hear me?"

Leah noticed that Ernest had a very serious expression on his face, and she felt that she may have been too sensitive before. However, it couldn't be denied that Ernest had once fancied Celeste.

She nodded. "Okay, I got it."

Ernest threw a look at Leah and said, "Let's eat."

Leah nodded and began to eat.

Her appetite had improved due to her good mood.

Ernest took the noodles she had cooked and ate them all. He didn't care if the noodles had swelled into a gloopy mess as he slurped it all up.

Leah was moved, and she noticed that Ernest's eyes were bloodshot.

He took a red eye flight back home, so it was likely

that he hadn't slept much.

Leah observed Ernest carefully and found that he'd lost weight.

Both of them had gotten thinner.

Leah was both distressed and happy at the same time.

Ernest losing weight meant that the breakup had affected him too.

Then, it meant that she wasn't suffering alone. At least Ernest still had feelings for her.

After this discovery, Leah genuinely felt much better.

A proud smile revealed itself on her face, and Ernest raised an eyebrow at the sight. "Why are you smiling?"

Leah swallowed a mouthful of food before she used a napkin to wipe her mouth. Then she said, "I'm full."

Ernest smiled faintly at her. "Well, what a coincidence, I'm full as well. Seems like you're eager for our next activity, no?"

Leah immediately became embarrassed before she said, "Hey! I wasn't thinking of that when I smiled, I just!"

"You just what?" Ernest got up and pulled Leah up with him.

Leah looked at his handsome face and said, "I just feel better after knowing that we've both lost weight. At least I'm not the only one suffering after the breakup."

Ernest paused for a moment before he looked at Leah carefully. "I'm quite upset that you've lost weight."

Then, he held Leah's hand and kissed it.

Her fingers were pale and slender, but they were marked by a few calluses, especially the areas where she held the mouse.

Leah was a little embarrassed by his gaze. "Why are you staring at my hand?"
