True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1862

She was not allowed to date before the age of 20?

Sylvia blinked her big, round eyes. If she was not allowed to be in a relationship, then didn't that mean she would be alone?

She blinked and thought to herself that nothing could stop her from falling in love.

When Heinz saw her daughter falling silent and blinking with her bright eyes, he knew that she was up to something. With that, he immediately got alert.

"Sylvia?"

Sylvia shivered, she quickly came to her senses. She looked into her father's deep eyes and said, "Dad, I was just thinking of ways to remember your words."

Was that really the case?

Heinz felt that his daughter did not look like such an honest child. She was a girl full of weird ideas and wasn't so obedient too. She must be perfunctory to her father.

Heinz smiled, he tried his best to not expose her daughter's thoughts.

Besides, he would always pay attention to his daughter and would not give her a chance to steer down the wrong path.

"Remember my words. Girls should be reserved, you shouldn't be thinking about these useless things. First, accumulate your talent and qualities, and then you can find a man who loves you more in the future," Heinz earnestly said.

He thought that not every man was able to be a match for his daughter.

Perhaps the man who could be a match for his daughter wasn't even born yet.

A father would want nothing more than his daughter to be happy, yet, they would not want their daughter to be married.

Reality and wishes would always be conflicting.

"Yes, Dad, I'm not a superficial child. I'm smart and capable. No one will look down on me." Sylvia held her father's arm, they walked into the house together.

Everyone was waiting for Heinz for their meal.

Celeste and Gary were downstairs too. They were all waiting to start dinner.

At this moment, Leah and Ernest were in the living room too. When they saw Heinz and Sylvia coming in together, Ernest could not help but sneer.

That girl used some sort of means to coax her father into a happy mood.

Ernest knew that his father had always doted on his little sister.

That was normal, since Sylvia was the only girl in the family. She had a special spot in the family no one else had.

Now that he saw his father entering the room with his younger sister, he lowered his voice and told Leah, "That girl is devilish. Be careful when you speak to her and don't fall for her tricks. She will always try to trick people. Furthermore, she likes using listening devices. Be careful, or you might be eavesdropped on."

"What?" Leah was really scared. She opened her mouth in a slight gasp and looked at Ernest in a daze. "Would she really do that?"

Ernest nodded, he whispered in Leah's ear, "Last time when I was at home, she eavesdropped on Gary and Celeste."

"What!" Leah was secretly shocked and looked at Sylvia. It was incredible. How could the little girl be so full of tricks? She could even manage to eavesdrop using such a high-tech device. What on earth was she planning to do?

Was she eavesdropping because she was curious, or because she wanted to know how far they were in their relationship?

Or, was this a romantic thing?

Leah retracted her gaze and looked at Ernest once again. She also lowered her voice and said, "Then, do you still want to stay at home and let us be eavesdropped on by your sister on purpose?"

Ernest smiled and said, "She won't go too far. Don't worry."

Leah did not understand.

In her opinion, if she was being spied on, she thought it would be best to leave. She could not afford to provoke them, and she would avoid them too.

Leah secretly glanced at the beautiful, lovely, and smart little girl. She did not expect her to be looking at them.

Their eyes met, and Sylvia immediately spoke loudly, "Ernest, Leah, what are you two secretly talking about? Ever since Dad and I came in, you two have been looking at us as you talk. As the saying goes, sharing is caring. It would be better for you two to share your words with everyone."

Leah blushed. This little girl did not show them any respect at all.

They were caught red-handed.
