True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1863

Gary was stunned, he did not expect to hear such a news, he frowned and asked, "Was the intern teacher an undercover police?"

"I heard that he specializes in criminal investigation," Sebastian replied, "He is 23 years old and graduated from a famous university."

"He's a man?" Gary asked again.

Sebastian nodded.

After that, everyone showed a look of enlightenment.

Gary and Celeste looked at each other. It seemed that this man was indeed excellent at criminal investigation. He was able to tell someone out of the ordinary at once.

Ernest and Leah exchanged glances. It seemed that this intern teacher was a great counter to Sylvia. Otherwise, she would not be so scared as to run upstairs to do her homework.

However, Leah could feel some sort of romantic feelings forming.

A thought flashed across her eyes, she looked in the direction of the second floor. However, Sylvia had long disappeared.

Sebastian smiled. "The intern teacher has made a bet with Sylvia. If she can successfully eavesdrop on him, he will grant her a wish."

"What kind of wish?" Leah immediately asked.

"Whatever wish she desires," Sebastian replied. "However, since even Sylvia is unable to eavesdrop on the teacher, I suspect that the teacher's abilities are too great, that person is amazingly defensive. He is able to dodge all of Sylvia's tricks."

"Is he really that awesome?" Leah said with great surprise. "I am curious now."

Ernest immediately glanced at her, Leah smiled.

Ernest sighed. Leah was just like Sylvia, they both liked to join in on the party.

However, he would not allow this girl to be curious about any other man, so he reached out to hold Leah's hand, and gave her a warning shake.

His way of doing it was greatly overbearing.

Gary glanced at Ernest quietly.

Celeste saw it too. He did not expect Ernest to be so domineering. No, wait, he was just stingy.

She could not help but laugh.

Leah laughed, she knew what Ernest meant by that.

"I don't think Sylvia has the time to spy on you guys tonight." Sebastian spoke, he paused for a while before he continued, "So, Gary, Celeste, Ernest, Leah, there is no need for any of you to be nervous."

When they heard that, all of them heaved a sigh of relief.

Sure enough, it was just as Sebastian had said, Sylvia did not do anything that night. When they had dinner, she ate quietly, she did not show any signs of interest in anyone.

She seemed to be immersed in her own world, as if she was in deep thoughts about something.

After they finished dinner, Sylvia hurriedly returned to her room once more.

Leah and Ernest returned to their rooms as well.

Leah was very worried and asked Ernest, "Do you think your sister will eavesdrop on us on a whim?"

"So, you don't believe in Sebastian's words?" Ernest asked.

"It's not that I don't think there is anything wrong with Sebastian's words. I just feel that he doesn't understand girls at all. Girls are usually very enthusiastic. When she suddenly knows how to win the bet against her teacher, wouldn't her interest in eavesdropping be ignited again?" Leah still thought that it would be better to be on guard. After all, it would be a bad thing if their privacy was heard by others.

When Ernest heard this, he raised his eyebrows. He thought that it might really be possible for Sylvia to still be eavesdropping.

He thought for a moment and said, "I understand. Don't worry."

"Why aren't you worried?" Leah looked at him worriedly. "Or do you have any good plans to be able to foresee your sister's arrival?"

She reminded Ernest of something. He rolled his eyes and said, "I can try, but I think there is a better way, and that is to cut off the network."

Leah was taken aback. "Do you mean that you are going to cut off the network wire? Or the transmission route? But will the eavesdropping devices be cut off just because the network is off?"

"Just wait. I'll go and find Gary. He should be able to do it. After all, he has studied something like this before." Ernest went out to knock on Gary's door.

Gary quickly opened the door. When he saw Ernest, he raised his eyebrows slightly. "You are looking for me because of Sylvia's eavesdropping, right?"

Ernest shrugged and smiled. "She is a common enemy of ours. Of course we have to deal with her together."

Gary laughed, the two of them stood by the door. Ernest asked in a low voice, "What if Sylvia comes up again?"

Gary smiled and said, "There are a lot of ways for us to know her actions without her knowing it."

"So, Gary, do you have any plans?" This was what Ernest wanted to know the most.
