True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1864

Sure enough, Sylvia did not continue with her eavesdropping, but at five o'clock in the morning, she got up and tore down the devices in Ernest's room.

At that moment, Ernest heard the alarm and immediately got up to check. He saw his sister standing at the door with a depressed look, she was taking down the listening devices with a sad face.

Ernest smiled and opened the door.

Sylvia did not have enough time to make a run for it, and she was caught in an instant. She widened her eyes in shock and looked at Ernest.

"Er- Ernest?" She was so scared that she shivered. She was a little shocked that Ernest would wake up so early in the morning.

Could it be that he had been waiting to catch her that he did not sleep for the entire night?

Ernest smiled. He could imagine Sylvia's surprise and shock the moment she saw him.

It looked more like she was frightened.

Sylvia quickly realized that something was wrong.

Her eavesdropping device was cut off, which meant that Ernest had already discovered her trick. He must have found out about it the night before.

If that was the case, then all she had done the night before went to vain.

"Sylvia, this is the last time. If you still refuse to come to your senses, I will go and ask your intern teacher how to teach you a lesson," Ernest said.

"Don't do that, Ernest." Sylvia shook her head immediately and looked at her brother, she begged for mercy. "Don't do that. We are siblings. Why must you make things difficult for all of us?"

Ernest's handsome face turned cold. "Don't tease me. You've breached everyone's privacy with your actions, which means that you've violated the law. If you go on like this, I won't mind sending you to the police station."

"Ernest, there is no need for that, right? You will only be embarrassing Uncle Charm if you do that. I am his niece, how bad would that be for him." Sylvia tried to use Jensen as a means in hopes of dispelling his brother's threat.

However, Ernest smiled, and a deep flash of coldness could be seen at the corners of his mouth. He said, "You are doing this because you want your brothers to dislike coming home. If that happens, Mom will not be able to see us anymore. If you have the guts to admit to your unfilial crimes, then so be it."

"No, I was wrong." Sylvia immediately begged for mercy.

Ernest's gaze was still cold. Sylvia blinked. When she noticed that Ernest did not seem to be really angry, she smiled and said, "Ernest, did Sebastian tell you about my intern teacher?"

"Regarding this intern teacher of yours, I do plan to meet him. Perhaps we can work together and find ways to punish you." Ernest stared at his sister with a sharp gaze.

"No." Sylvia shook her head immediately, she turned around and ran away.

When Ernest saw how fast she was running, his lips twitched. She seemed to be in high spirits, so much so that she did not even sleep in the middle of the night. She had the strength to get up, how detestable.

When he got downstairs, Sylvia turned around and looked at him. She smiled and said, "Ernest, it seems like you are really angry so early in the morning. Are you dissatisfied?"

Ernest frowned and took a deep breath. "You really do deserve a good beating." "See, I have guessed it correctly. It does look like you are not satisfied with something. Well, I apologize to you, but just this once, never again."

After that, Sylvia clenched her fists, turned around, and ran away.

Ernest felt extremely helpless.

She was just a rogue little girl, why was she so detestable?

But he had no other way. She was his little sister, she was annoying but adorable.

He turned around and entered the room. At that moment, he saw that Leah was awake. She sat on her bed and looked at him, she was obviously very sleepy, and she looked very cute that way.

"Did I wake you up?" Ernest asked her.

Leah sighed helplessly, she pinched the space between her eyebrows and told Ernest, "Your sister is really something. How could she do something so out of the ordinary. Also, how does she have the strength to wake up in the middle of the night?"

"She is really energetic." Ernest also had a headache.

Leah heaved a sigh of relief. "I really don't dare to live in your house anymore. If this goes on, I think my mind will turn very weak. This is really too terrifying. No, it is all too terrifying and horrifying." Ernest was stunned, he thought that her words made a great deal of sense.

When Leah saw that Ernest was not speaking, she thought that he was angry. She immediately stuck out her tongue and said, "Are you angry? Sorry, I should not have said that about your sister."

"No." Ernest shook his head. "I think that you used the right words to describe her."

Leah smiled back. She laid down on the bed and shut her eyes, she asked Ernest innocently, "It is half past five. Should we get up? Or should we continue to lie down for a while? If we get up too late, will it look bad for us?"

Ernest went to her side and sat down beside her. He placed his long arms on the bed and looked down at Leah.
