True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1978

His ice-cold voice terrified everyone around.

Janice took a deep breath. When she saw the coldness in Gary's eyes, her expression suddenly changed.

"I... I!" Janice stammered. She wanted to explain herself, however, she realized that she was at a loss for words when she was facing Gary.

Gary's grip on her neck was getting harder, as if he wanted to strangle her to death.

"Ah!" Janice's breathing got rapid, and she was losing her breath fast. She felt as if she was about to suffocate.

The veins on Gary's forehead bulged as he furiously said, "You were daring enough to have schemed against me once, and are you trying to scheme against me again?"

"Gary." Lowell quickly rushed in. When he saw Gary strangling Janice, he quickly stepped forward to stop him as it seemed like he was going to strangle her to death. "Let her go first. She isn't worth you doing this."

Lowell did not want Gary to be implicated because of that. However, Gary was furious. At that moment, it seemed like he was about to turn mad. All he wanted was to end that woman.

Lowell realized that he had no intentions of stopping. He then clenched Gary's wrist forcefully, wanting to stop him.

Slowly, as Lowell exerted more strength, Gary's strength was slightly reduced. Janice's face was already turning from red to purple.

Lowell almost used up all the strength he had to stop Gary from strangling her on the spot.

Gary was furious as he shouted at Lowell, "What are you doing? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't care who she is. I respected her for your sake back then, but I did not expect myself to be schemed by her."

When Lowell heard that, his heart tightened.

That's right, he lost himself for her too back then.

It was so much so that he even asked Gary to take good care of Janice.

Back then, he was attracted by her lively attitude, and he thought that she was the loveliest woman in the world. He even thought that she would be his bride someday, and that the two of them would walk together for the rest of their lives.

Lowell also believed that Gary knew he had feelings for her, which was why he treated her as

his own.

That was why Gary was so polite to Janice.

However, who would have thought that Janice was not interested in him but in Gary?

When he was unable to retort to Gary's words, Lowell's face was filled with guilt and apology.

"Cough, cough, cough." Janice covered her neck as she coughed violently.

She looked in Gary's direction in shock. Only then did she believe Lowell's words. He said that Gary would never let her keep the child, even if he knew about its existence. She believed him then.

He could tell just how angry he was earlier just by how he strangled her.

Janice panted heavily, and she only spoke when she calmed herself down. "Gary, I know that you are angry, but this is an accident. I still got pregnant in the end. What's more, I am three months pregnant now."

"Shut up."

Before Janice could finish, Gary had already interrupted her. His face was filled with indignation.

His chest was rising and falling, the blue veins on his forehead continued to bulge. His eyes were bloodshot, and his angry look was extremely

terrifying.

Janice was scared.

"Gary, let's leave first." Lowell wanted to urge Gary to go back and rest for a while first. He would then come and settle scores with Janice after that.

Gary glanced at Lowell, and he suddenly asked in a sarcastic way, "What's wrong? Are you feeling distressed for her?"

Was Lowell worried about Janice?

What was wrong with him? Why would he feel sorry for that hateful woman?

Janice was looking forward to Gary's arrival.

However, as she saw Gary acting like that then, she thought that it would be better for him to leave. She was terrified.
