True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 1979

Lowell still felt worried, and he advised Gary, "Calm down first. You need to go back to the apartment and rest. You surely haven't been sleeping well. Let's solve this problem after you get a good sleep."

As Lowell spoke, he helped Gary to call a cab to send him back to his apartment.

Gary entered the car, but when he left, he did not even say goodbye to Lowell.

Lowell looked as the car left, he pursed his lips slightly and turned towards the hospital.

After that, he entered the ward. Janice was still lying on the bed, but she was not holding her stomach.

It seemed like she did not expect Lowell to come back so soon after leaving.

Janice was shocked. When she saw that it was Lowell and not Gary, the fear in her gaze faded as her lips twitched and she said, "Oh, it's you."

Lowell squinted at her, he suddenly sneered. A deep trace of disappointment could be seen on his handsome face, the face that used to be filled with sunshine was then dark.

It seemed that Janice thought he was harmless, as if he would never hurt her even if he was infuriated, as if she had won his favor completely.

He walked closer to the bed and looked at Janice. Then, his eyes fell on her stomach.

When Janice saw Lowell's gaze, she said, "Fortunately, the child is fine."

After she finished saying that, she showed a triumphant and proud look. A trace of delight could be seen in her eyes. She heaved a sigh of relief. With that, her tone turned somewhat arrogant again.

"See? I've told you a long time ago that Gary actually couldn't bring himself to part with the child in my womb." She looked at Lowell and said with a smile, "It was only a momentary blow to him. He feels that I've schemed against him, which is why he misunderstood me and felt angry towards me. When he comes back to his senses, he will treat me well."

Lowell's gaze darkened. Suddenly, he lifted his leg and kicked the hospital bed. "Will he be good to you? Janice, give it up. You won't be able to wait forthat to happen."

"What do you mean?" Janice was startled, she found it hard to bear Gary's anger, and she was shaken when she had to face it.

However, Lowell had always been warm and gentle to her. She felt that she should be able to deal with him. Hence, Janice had never thought of him as a threat.

However, at that moment, Lowell suddenly raised his foot and kicked the hospital bed hard, which angered her. She immediately shouted, "Lowell, are you crazy?"

Lowell frowned, deep contempt could be seen in his eyes.

He had never treated any unscrupulous women well before.

"Yeah, I'm indeed crazy." He glared at Janice, then he turned around and walked out.

"Lowell, let me go," Janice shouted from behind, "You can't lock me in here. If you do this, I will sue you. Lowell, I am telling you, you can't do this to me."

Lowell smiled coldly. He stood at the door with a sharp glint in his eyes. He looked at the people at the door and said, "You can leave now."

The men at the door were both stunned. "Mr. Jones, are you sure we can leave?"

"That's right," Lowell smiled and said, "There is no need for you to watch over Janice anymore. She is free."

When Janice heard that, she was stunned. She did not know what was going on at all.

Was Lowell really going to let her go?

However, she had seen the hatred in Lowell's eyes earlier. How could he just let her go in the blink of an eye?

Janice found it hard to believe and she thought that things wouldn't end that easily.

"Lowell, are you really going to let me go?" Janice asked him again in the room.

Lowell stood at the door, he turned around and glanced at Janice coldly. He stood there indifferently, and there was no emotion in his eyes.

However, Janice felt that the expression in his eyes were too cold.

She thought that she had gotten hold of Lowell, thus she really thought that he would not do anything out of line.

Lowell said coldly, "Janice, nothing will end well for you. You've done so many bad things. You should not have schemed against someone that doesn't belong to you. I hope you can know your place."

With that, Lowell turned around and left.

Janice was stunned, then she smiled proudly.

When she saw Lowell leaving, she smiled and told herself, "Oh, Lowell, if I hadn't planned so much, how could I have Gary by my side? I might not really have a child in my womb, and I am only doing all these for the sake of love.

We need to fight for what we love. You are not fighting for me when you clearly love me. How could you win my heart that way?"

Her little speech that she told herself seemed to be words for Lowell, but also for herself. Of course, it sounded more like those were words that she was telling herself.

Lowell stood by the door. When he heard those words, he closed his eyes with a hint of selfmockery.

Fortunately, he did not do anything unscrupulously for the sake of love. If he tried to win Janice's heart that way, he might get into a bigger problem himself.

Lowell stood by the door.

When he left the room, he took out his phone and dialled a number. "Have you prepared everything I asked you to do?"

"Mr. Jones, everything is ready following your order. The car is parked in the parking lot of the hospital, and the keys are at the place you requested too."

"Okay, I will go and get it now." With that, Lowell ended the call with a serious look.

He came down from the ward and went straight to the outpatient building. He took his car keys and went to the parking lot to locate the car. It could be considered to be a new car.

He drove the car out from the inside and parked the car at the exit of the hospital building.

He waited patiently, and he was not in a hurry at all.
