True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2008

Startled, Celeste frowned and looked into Gary's eyes.

It didn't look like he was joking at all.

And it made her mad.

If she wanted to punish him, there was a high chance that she would break him.

Yet, Gary remained unmoved.

Celeste's frown deepened upon noticing Gary acting like that.

Meanwhile, Gary laughed at himself and for all the mistakes he had made in the past.

He was never one to be constantly bothered by problems. Even if he had regrets, it wouldn't take him long to sort himself out.

However, he did not forget what he wanted to do.

"There's no turning back now. All I can say is I'm sorry," said Gary as he took off Celeste's clothes.

"Gary," Gary called out to him in a grave tone while shooting him a puzzled look.

Didn't he say he would respect her decision?

Why did he change his mind now? Didn't he

already refuse her? Why was this happening now?

She was confused by his behavior.

"Alright. I know you would never go too hard on me. Even if you did, I wouldn't mind," Looking at her confused expression, Gary said in all seriousness, "I only ever want you. So if I can't do it with you anymore because you want to punish me for what I've done, I deserve it."

Celeste's body trembled as she looked at him with her eyes widened. She couldn't believe he would say something like this. Now, she was feeling a surge of emotions.

Gary was such an arrogant man. Although she had stopped him from speaking of that matter, he did so anyway.

Celeste was upset and moved at the same time.

Gary was Heinz's eldest son and had lived his life so high and mighty. Despite being set up, he still chose to show her his wounds even though he wasn't entirely at fault.

What more could she ask for when he treated her this well?

Celeste lowered her head, wanting to hide the fact that she was upset and frustrated. She still couldn't bring herself to say that everything was alright now.

No words were needed to communicate what they were feeling right then.

Gary could notice the loneliness in her eyes. Therefore, he said to her softly, "Can I be so bold to have you tonight?"

He still wanted to ask for her consent.

Celeste was astonished. Quickly, she looked up and stared at him.

The next second, his face grew nearer towards her. Just as she was about to say something, Gary's lips landed on hers.

He kissed her.

Gary didn't give her a chance to say what she wanted. Instead, he kissed her passionately.

He was the type to put his plans into action once he was given the green light. With that, he stripped Celeste of any plans to take her consent back.

Consequently, Celeste lost all reason. Her mind was instantaneously blown.

Although they were swamped with emotions, they threw it to the back of their minds as they indulged in each other.

It was so intense that it was as if this would be their last night together.

An hour later, both of them were covered in sweat.

Gary still wanted to go on, but Celeste was panting and she was already worn out.

Although Gary was gentle, he had wanted her so badly that eventually Celeste just passed out.

Gary was stunned to see her pass out, but then he let out a silent chuckle.

Just how much stamina did she have?

He smiled as he stroked her sleeping face tenderly.

Five hours later, Celeste woke up from her dream, satisfied from her well-deserved rest.

When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Gary's handsome face. He was still sleeping.

Surprised, she fixed her eyes on him.

He looked so enchanting even with his eyes closed.

His long lashes cast shadows under his eyelids, while his lips were pursed tightly right underneath his tall nose.

However, she could tell that he looked sad.

Celeste sighed. Perhaps Gary was still feeling guilty even when fast asleep.

The fact that they had did it again made her slightly upset, but she knew that neither of them could stop it from happening at the spur of the moment.

Thinking of it now, she felt a little upset.

She stared at him for God knew how long without moving an inch.
