True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2076

Janice turned around in shock. A hint of fear flashed across her eyes, but she pursed her lips and stubbornly watched Gary enter.

Heinz wasn't surprised to see Gary. Frankly, Heinz expected Gary to come.

Gary strode up to Janice and looked down at her. There was no sympathy in his eyes.

Instead, there was contempt and utter disgust.

His eyes were filled with rage as he suddenly grabbed Janice by the neck.

Fear flickered in Janice's eyes as she was hoisted up.

Gary spoke very slowly, enunciating each word. "You think too highly of yourself. Who are you? Do you think you deserve to be my girlfriend?"

"You promised me." Janice forced out her words. "You promised to be my boyfriend in Boston, but you went back on your word."

"You resorted to underhanded means, why must I keep my promise to you then, hm?" Gary sneered. "Why should I keep my promise to you? Who do you think you are?"

"If you didn't promise me, then Lowell would be in prison now." Janice stared at Gary steadily.

Gary only became angrier after she mentioned Lowell. "You still want to bring him up? Haven't you used him enough? You're vile, Janice."

"I don't think I used him." Janice remained stubborn as she was sure that Gary wouldn't kill her in front of Heinz. She wanted to make sure that Heinz heard every word she had to say.

"Why are you still so stubborn?" Gary roared.

"I'm not!" Janice shouted back.

After that, Gary's grip on her neck tightened and she couldn't breathe or speak.

She turned to Heinz in anticipation of him stopping Gary.

Alas, Heinz pretended to not see her at all.

He simply shrugged and said to Gary, "Two members of the Jones family have already been deceived by you, Miss Simpson. Looks like you're not any ordinary person."

"Playing dirty is not a display of ability at all." Gary scoffed.

"Of course it is. Do you think everyone can do this?" Heinz smiled. "Just kill her, Gary. At least Lowell will stay away from this kind of woman. If you get a good lawyer, I'm sure you won't be in jail for too long."

Gary frowned and didn't say anything. His grip on Janice became tighter.

Janice was dumbfounded.

She could hardly believe her ears.

Heinz was behaving extremely out of character. Was he encouraging Gary to kill her?

Janice still kept her eyes on Heinz, pleading with him to save her.

At the same time, she held onto Gary's arms tightly, hoping to pull them away from her neck.

However, Gary was very angry to the point that he'd lost all control. Hence, his hands stayed wrapped around Janice's neck.

Janice gasped for air as her body clamored for oxygen.

Meanwhile, Heinz did not say a single word to stop Gary. He seemed very confident that Gary would not strangle Janice.

He knew that no matter how angry Gary was, he wouldn't really cross that line.

He was Heinz's eldest son and a very smart man. How could he commit a crime for such a nobody?

Obviously, he was right.

Gary flung Janice aside to the sofa just as she was about to faint, and she was immediately hit with a coughing fit.

Janice coughed and struggled to breathe properly.

Janice held her neck and couldn't stop to catch her breath.

Her coughing fit took a while to subside, she gave Gary and Heinz a blank look as tears fell from her eyes.

Heinz sat on the sofa lazily as if what happened was commonplace. Everything was under control.
