True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 2117

Sebastian observed himself in the mirror. There was actually a faint blush on his face, and he seemed different from before.

He took a deep breath and tried his best to calm himself down. He didn't want Claudia to affect his emotions.

He stayed in the bathroom for a long time.

However, no sound could be heard at all from the outside.

Time passed by. Sebastian perked u his ears and listened carefully for any noise from the outside.

There was really no sound.

Had Claudia left?

No way!

Sebastian found that to be impossible.

She went in to his room earlier, but she hadn't had the chance to talk to him. How could she possibly leave?

Although he didn't know that woman very well, Sebastian felt that Claudia was a woman who would never give up until she reached her goal. He could see that from the interactions they had the day before and on that day.

Meanwhile, in Sebastian's room.

Claudia indeed had not left. Instead, she stood in front of the bookshelf and looked at the books on display quietly.

There were plenty of them, and they were varied as well. There were books of astronomy, history and many others.

It was not surprising for a 16 years old boy to have so many books.

What was truly awe inspiring was that he had read all of them.

Claudia randomly picked up a book and found that he had even written some notes on it.

His handwriting was very beautiful, as if it was typed out. It was clear that Sebastian had practiced his writing extensively.

The notes that were written clearly on the book contained little snippets of Sebastian's understanding of the content.

There were even criticisms written in the margins.

She could easily figure who'd written them as well.

Claudia flipped through a few more books and found that there were annotations on all of them.

Furthermore, a lot of these books were on history.

Claudia was very surprised that Sebastian was so well-read, and she could be sure about that when she looked at those books, which he surely had read.

The more she looked at them, the more she admired Sebastian. It was rare to find someone with so much patience, who can read so many books.

Once again, Claudia was sure that she had good taste.

She put the books back into their original spot and turned around to inspect the entire room.

Books were the most significant feature in the room.

Well...

The bed was huge as well.

The sheets and pillow covers were all a sky blue, and it was very masculine.

She sat down by the bed and looked back at the bathroom, wondering when he would come out.

It had been 20 minutes.

Claudia figured that his patience would be running out soon.

Of course, it was as she expected.

The door swung open then.

Sebastian walked out of the bathroom.

When he saw Claudia sitting on his bed, he immediately frowned and seemed very displeased.

Claudia was surprised, and she thought to herself. "I only sat on your bed. Why are you being so unfriendly?"

However, Sebastian's face continued to be icy, and his sharp eyes glared at Claudia coldly.

"Get up," he scolded in a deep voice.

Claudia was silent for a moment before she looked at him and asked, "Are you a clean freak?"

Sebastian went quiet for a bit as he breathed deeply, his chest rising and falling. He seemed to be in a bad mood.

Sebastian might really be pissed off.

Claudia concluded that Sebastian really was a clean freak.

She shrugged and smiled. "All right then, I can respect that."

Then, she stood up and stopped sitting on his bed.

Unsure if it was the fact she actually got up from his bed or because of what she said, Sebastian was a little stunned, seeming slightly surprised.

His mood obviously improved a little, and his breathing evened out. He slowly calmed down.

Claudia watched him as he paused before looking back at her.

She blinked and smiled at him brightly. "If you are a clean freak, you should see a psychologist."

"I am not a clean freak," said Sebastian coldly. "It's just that it's my bed. You're not allowed to sit on it."

Claudia shrugged and said, "Well, come to think of it, you looked like you enjoyed me hugging you earlier, so you don't seem to be a clean freak."

"I didn't enjoy anything." Sebastian spat.

Why was Claudia so infuriating? She was just making speculations on her own.

"You did," Claudia said firmly. "I'm a very keen person. If you're a clean freak, you must have felt incredibly uncomfortable long ago.

However, you seemed very upset when you asked me to get off your bed earlier, even your breathing got rapid. That did look like what a clean freak would do.

That's actually an illness you know. Why can I hug you but not sit on your bed?"

"Get out," Sebastian said.

He really didn't want to talk to Claudia anymore.

"Can you calm down so we can talk?" Claudia obviously wouldn't leave just like that.
