"Mr. Trevino, are you going to eat it yourself, or do you want me to feed you?" Sylvia stared at Kendrix, he had no intention of picking up the silverware, so she was ready to feed him.
Kendrix only frowned. "I am not hungry, put the food down."
"You have to eat even if you are not hungry." Sylvia did not think much of it, and she started threatening him. "If you won't eat, I will feed you."
Her gaze was bright and determined. She looked at Kendrix, standing by her decision. If he would not eat, she would feed him.
Kendrix continued to stare at Sylvia, still had no intention of taking over the oatmeal.
Claudia could not control herself anymore. She laughed and joked beside them.
"Oh Sylvia, it looks like Mr. Trevino doesn't want to do it himself. Why don't you just feed him?"
Sylvia was stunned, she turned around and looked at Claudia.
It seemed like she was trying to stir up trouble.
In truth, she was too anxious earlier and forgot that Claudia was right behind her.
When she saw her, Sylvia blushed.
Claudia laughed even more bashfully. "Kendrix, your student is so concerned about you. It is not right for you to continue acting so arrogantly."
"Can you shut up?" Kendrix asked in a low voice.
Claudia smiled. "Look, he is already angry. He blames me for talking too much. If I hadn't said anything, you might have already started to feed him."
Sylvia herself knew very well that if Claudia had not said anything, she would really have started to feed him herself.
However, as of then, she was really too embarrassed.
She could only turn her head around and stared at Kendrix without saying anything. She pursed her lips, she looked pitiful.
Seeing her expressions and feeling threatened, Kendrix finally took over the oatmeal and started to eat it quietly.
Sylvia blushed once again.
Claudia's smile was as sly as a fox.
Lowell was watching by the stairs. At first, he frowned, but soon, he relaxed. The way they got along with each other was really surprising.
Kendrix doted on Sylvia so much too. Even though Kendrix was a cold person on the outside, he would still give in and eat the porridge when he saw her worried look.
The discovery comforted Lowell's worried heart by a little.
It seemed like there was no need for him to worry so much.
In truth, his only concern in the beginning was how cold Kendrix was, and he was even her teacher. However, he thought that their relationship was not that bad then.
Lowell went down from the stairs, he sat down by the sofa and looked up at Kendrix.
Kendrix was still eating the oatmeal quietly, he did not make a sound when he ate. It seemed like he was quite a well-mannered man.
The burden in Lowell's heart was immediately relieved, he felt a lot more relaxed. He was no longer as depressed as he was before.
Kendrix glanced at him, he then continued to eat quietly.
Lowell smiled and looked towards Claudia.
Claudia shrugged.
At that moment, the butler had started to serve the dishes. Not long after, the table was filled with a hearty lunch.
The table was filled with all kinds of delicious delicacies.
It looked really delicious.
The moment the dishes were served, they could smell the fragrance at once.
Claudia could not help but to exclaim, "Wow, it smells so good."
"It seems like you are really hungry. Go ahead and eat." Lowell stood up and told Claudia in a gentlemanly manner, "You can use me as support to get to the table over there."
"No need, I can do it myself." Claudia immediately leaped towards the table with one leg.
Lowell did not force her, he turned around and looked at Sylvia and Kendrix, he then said, "Go ahead, Mr. Trevino."
"Thank you." Kendrix stood up and replied lightly.
Sylvia continued to stare at Kendrix. She stared at him just like that, her eyes never left him, and she didn't mind if Lowell as right next to her as she reminded Kendrix. "You must absolutely not skip breakfast in the future, do you understand?"
Kendrix did not answer her.
"I am talking to you, do you hear me or not?" Sylvia asked again. It seemed like she was not going to give up until she got his word.
Kendrix continued to consume the oatmeal in his bowl, he then looked at Sylvia and said, "Claudia lied to you."
"What?" Sylvia was shocked.
Kendrix smirked, looked as if he was smiling.
"Are you saying that Claudia lied about you always skipping breakfast, and you actually have breakfast?" Sylvia came back to her senses.
Kendrix only nodded.
"What?" Sylvia was confused, she turned around and looked at Claudia, who was limping to the dining table with one leg.
What a detestable girl. She actually lied to her about that, it made her feel so nervous.
"Then, did you have breakfast or not?"
She would settle accounts with Claudia later. The most important thing to know right then was whether Kendrix knew how to take care of himself, and if he would eat his breakfast daily or not.
"I had a cup of milk, as well as some eggs this morning," Kendrix said.
Upon hearing that, Sylvia finally felt relieved.
She looked up into Kendrix's eyes, and her pure and concerned eyes met with his. She heaved a sigh of relief, and she no longer looked so tensed.
"It is good that you have had breakfast. In the future, you have to have breakfast every day. You need to take care of yourself, okay?"
It felt like she was giving orders to a little child.
Lowell was listening to their conversation by one side, he felt that he was a third wheeler.
