Heinz could tell that Grace seemed to be optimistic about the matter, which surprised him. Based on his understanding of her before that, he thought she would be opposed to it.
Yet, she seemed to have quite a good impression on Claudia after that day's dinner.
It seemed that she wanted Claudia to be Sebastian's girlfriend.
"Honey, what are you thinking?" Heinz approached Grace and asked tentatively.
"It doesn't matter what I think. The point is that you don't reject or oppose it either, isn't it?" She glanced at him coldly before saying, "Since we could reach at an agreement, don't be too harsh on the children then."
"Okay." He nodded and sighed, "I just feel that Sebastian is being strange to Claudia."
"Well let it go with the flow." she sighed, "He's a smart child. Can't you see that he doesn't want us to be involved? The more we meddle, the more the situation wouldn't go our way. It would bring about the opposite outcome."
"I can tell that he is furious that I meddled in his affairs." He nodded and frowned. He thought for a while and said, "Moreover, it's very likely that it's because I tested him yesterday, which made his attitude toward Claudia even worse today."
"So, take this as a lesson not to meddle anymore." Grace felt that the children had grown up and that they should give them more respect.
"I think we should respect them, but we still need to give them advice. They can choose if they want to take our advice. What if nothing good comes out of it if we don't intervene?" Heinz said.
She was stunned as she stared into his eyes and said, "Why do I feel like you are being nosy and secretly want to manipulate them?"
To her, he had always been someone who liked being in control of everything.
He had always been one with hyper-masculinity.
That was why she thought his parenting style to be a little old-fashioned.
It meant that he liked controlling everything the children did and enjoyed guiding them very much.
"Is that so?" Heinz coughed and cleared his throat, looking a little unnatural.
Grace knew that she was on the spot about his thoughts.
She glanced at him and said, "Well, you still have more than ten years to control the twin's life. Or, at least, you could for five years. So, you won't have much leisure time. Just don't worry about Sebastian and Sylvia. They will be fine."
His shoulders drooped after she saw through him as he was feeling helpless.
Fortunately, they still had the twins coming soon.
At least in the next fifteen years, those two little fellas would be all listening to his arrangement.
Thinking of that, he somehow felt comforted still.
Taking a deep breath, he nodded and said to her, "We shouldn't worry too much about this matter. After all, the children are still quite young, as long as they don't go astray, it's fine."
"That's right." She sighed. "They are actually all very smart. They know what to do. I believe they wouldn't go onto the wrong path, so all we have to do is respect them. If we go too far, they might be more rebellious and dare to do something out of line."
"So, rather than that, we just have do as you say, to wait and see." He held her shoulders and said, "Honey, let me serve you for your shower before we go to bed."
Grace smiled and said, "Indeed I would need that, I almost fell when I took a shower last night."
"What?" Hearing that, Heinz was shocked. "Why didn't you tell me of such a big matter last night?"
"If I told you, could you still sleep?" She said, "I'm afraid you will take me straight to the hospital or ask the doctor to come over."
He had to agree that that would indeed be his first reaction if he was in that situation, as he had to make sure she was all right. He would send her to the hospital to get checked.
"Are you okay?" He looked at her, and his face turned pale as he was so scared.
Everything else was no longer significant to him as he stared into her eyes anxiously.
"I'm fine. Look at me now. I only got a mild shock." Grace held his hand and said, "Let's go. This time, you help me in and out."
"I'll take care of you all the way," Heinz said firmly.
How could he let it happen again?
He must keep an eye on her at all times from then on.
