True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 265

Alice was about to leave after signing the papers at the police station,

Jensen immediately caught up to her. "Alice, I'll drive you back."

"You're driving me back?” Alice frowned. "There's no need for that. I can just take the bus."

"It's okay. Not that I have anything else to do." Jensen gave out a cough and cleared his throat, "I've been to the supermarket near your place and found that the things are quite good. Since I'm planning to get some stuff, let me send you back."

Alice shook her head. "It's okay, I'm fine by myself."

Feeling disappointed, Jensen said, "Okay, since you insist. I'll just go on my own."

She nodded. "Fine."

Then she turned around and left.

Staring at her back, Jensen was upset and helpless. What should he do? She was too stubborn.

If it went on like this, he was afraid that he would never find his way into her heart.

Pulling out his phone, Jensen made a call to Grace while walking to his car.

The call was connected quickly.

Grace wasn't expecting Officer Charm to call her.

"Officer Charm?"

"Hey, Grace.” He continued, "It's really hard to get close to Alice."

Grace was convinced that Jensen must have done something but failed. She knew her sister too well.

"Alice has always been hard to get close to, especially for men,” Grace explained. "But this has something to do with what happened six years ago."

Upon hearing this, Jensen's face immediately softened.

"Sorry, my bad," Jensen said wholeheartedly. "I will work harder." "It's okay. I understand," Grace replied. "It's such a headache, isn't it?"

"A little, maybe I'm too dumb," Jensen said in frustration. "Oh, by the way, what happened to you and Heinz?"

Grace froze and asked, "Did you hear it from Heinz or Alice?" "Alice," he answered.

"Nothing." Grace pursed her lips and said, "It's complicated. Heinz was too domineering. Even if there's no misunderstanding between us, it's difficult to get along with him. And we're both headstrong people who don't compromise easily. Well only hurt each other."

"Can you please say something that I could understand?" Jensen said, "Just tell me what happened." "You'd better ask him," Grace said. "I don't want to speak of it anymore, and forget about talking me

out."

"Uh." Jensen was a little surprised. "Did it end that badly?"

"Yes," Grace replied. "I don't want to talk about it anymore. I have to go now."

She glanced at her watch. It was time to pick up Little Gary.

Jensen nodded, "Okay."

After ending the call, Jensen ignited the car. When he turned out, he saw Alice waiting for the bus across the road.

She was keeping her head down, as if thinking about something.

Jensen stopped the car aside and watched her from a distance.

Three minutes later, the bus arrived and Alice hopped onto it.

Jensen started the car and followed behind the bus.

After following for a few stops, it dawned on him that he was behaving like a stalker and it was so childish of him.

He quickly drove past the bus.

He didn't stop until he was close to Emerald Apartment. When he looked up, he realized there was a sea of people in front.

Isn't this a kindergarten?

If he was not mistaken, Ernest went to the same kindergarten.

While immersing in his own thought, he suddenly spotted a familiar woman. Wasn't that Grace?

He turned off the engine.
