True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 267

In a flash, Alice had dragged Jensen into her room. Grace found it ludicrous. Alice would really do anything for her if she was willing to let her guard down and even allow a man into her room.

Grace felt touched by her sister's affection.

Because of her, Alice had let her guard down around men.

She got up and headed to the kitchen, thinking to cook something and treat Jensen to dinner.

In any case, she had to try hard for Alice. Perhaps Jensen was the one for her. Even if he wasn't, she would not regret it since she had tried her best.

It was already progress made if Alice was willing to let Jensen into her room.

Grace instantly felt better and was optimistic about the future. As for her and Heinz, her feelings were indescribable.

She was at a loss, feeling clueless and not knowing what to do.

The feeling of helplessness filled her heart in a way that she hadn't experienced before.

Once they were in the room, Alice pointed at Jensen, lowered her voice and said sternly, "I'm warning you. I forbid you from revealing anything about Little Gary to Heinz."

Jensen gazed deeply at Alice with his dark eyes. He said in a low voice, "So, is Little Gary really Heinz's

child?" "No, he's not," Alice growled. It was obvious that she wasn't telling the truth.

Jensen frowned, "Then why are you so agitated?"

Alice was stunned and didn't know how to dispute it.

Jensen was surprised to see the perplexed look on her face. There was a hint of a smile in his eyes.

"Alice, this is between Grace and Heinz. It's a fact that Little Gary is their child. I understand you care about Grace and Little Gary, but do you think it's appropriate for you to call the shots?"

Jensen felt that he was just stating the facts and not being one-sided.

"I don't care." Alice said bluntly, "He was a popular guy among my classmates. I thought he was a very upright man, but it turned out I was so wrong. He is a jerk for hurting my sister six years ago and leaving her with Little Gary. Do you have any idea how Grace had been holding up for all these years?"

Jensen narrowed his eyes slightly. There was no doubt that it was challenging for a young lady to raise a child on her own.

"I can imagine that."

"No, you can't!" Alice snapped. "What you're thinking is far from what Grace has gone through. You couldn't possibly imagine what she's been through in such a short period of time."

Jensen was moved by her love for Grace.

He was touched by their fond relationship.

"In such a short period of time, Grace lost her childhood sweetheart, set up by Marry, gave birth to a baby and-"

Alice didn't go on. The lost child was Grace's greatest sadness.

"She left her hometown and had never seen our beloved grandma ever since. And when I couldn't stand Marry anymore, Grace took me in. It was her who taught me everything from nothing. We're always there for each other without fail. I care for her more than I care for myself."

Tears welled up in Alice's eyes as she spoke. While full of righteous indignation, she felt deeply sorry for Grace.

"Now she's back and also knows Heinz is the father of Gary. She was just trying to give Little Gary a complete family, but how did he treat her? She can't be sacrificing her whole life for the sake of Little Gary."

"So, you're definitely not allowed to tell him," she said.
