True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 309

"That's up to him. I'll go and continue my work," Grace said as she left the editor's office in a hurry.

Hermione looked at Grace and sighed.

She walked to the door and closed it.

Then, she rang Heinz.

Outside, Heinz's phone buzzed. When he saw that it was a call from Hermione, he immediately opened the car door and got in.

"Hello?" Heinz said as he picked up the call, "Editor Lowe?"

"Mr. Jones." Hermione said, "I have tried to put in a good word for you, but Grace was very determined. I think you've really upset her this time. I don't know what happened between you two, but she looked very determined in not wanting anything to do with you."

Heinz's whole body froze. He pursed his lips bitterly and said, "As I've expected."

"Grace will work overtime today.” Hermione continued, "I'm afraid this is all I can do for you. I hope you'll keep your promise and not hurt Grace anymore."

"Thank you," Heinz said without much emotion.

Hanging up, Heinz sat alone in his car for quite some time.

Grace continued to write until 5:30 p.m. when

almost everyone had left.

She glanced at the editor's office and saw that Hermione was still there.

She sent the draft to Hermione's email and got up to walk towards the editor's office.

Grace informed, "Editor, my draft has been sent to your email. Please have a look. If you need any changes, just let me know."

"Alright, wait for me for a while." Hermione replied, "Fifteen minutes."

"Okay," said Grace.

"By the way, Grace.” Hermione asked while looking outside, "Has everyone left?"

"Yes, they've all left," Grace replied

"Alright," said Hermione.

Grace hadn't been to the toilet the whole afternoon. Now that she was done with work, she hurried there.

Meanwhile, outside the entrance,

Lester said to Heinz, "President, only Miss Smith and Hermione remain inside."

Heinz nodded.

Lester looked at his phone screen and added, "Miss Smith went to the toilet."

Heinz was stunned.

"She's alone." Lester said again, "Now it will be a good time, you should go in."

Heinz frowned and looked at Lester, asking, "She's in the toilet. Would that be appropriate?"

"Didn't you also enter the toilet at Folklore Village the last time?" As Lester finished speaking, he suddenly realized he's said something awkward and quickly shut his mouth.

"Alex, your big mouth!" Heinz growled.

Lester sucked in a breath and said, "President, we're doing this for your own good. We won't simply tell anybody else."

"Piss off," Heinz scowled, then he walked into the newspaper office.

Now, where was the toilet? He thought.

He immediately looked for a map of the building and went straight to the toilet.

He waited in the back of the stalls and thought to himself, "If it's this difficult to get a woman, I don't even want to get married anymore."
