Seeing that Heinz had calmed down a little, Hermione said, "Mr Jones, please go back. I won't tell you where Grace is. I can tell you that she is very well but is in a bad mood now. Can you give her some time?"
"Chief Editor Lowe." Heinz said in a low voice, "Tell me where she is, but I won't bother her."
"I'm sorry." Hermione shook her head. "Forgive me, but I won't."
"Aren't you afraid that I won't be nice to you?" Heinz glared at her and said in a more serious tone.
"Mr. Jones, you will only make me feel that you are childish when dealing with problems." Hermione said steadily, "Think about the reason why Grace is avoiding you. You know very well what you have done that led to this. There is no point threatening me because you can't cover up the fact that you are being unreasonable."
After that, Hermione went inside the newspaper office.
She knew that Heinz was getting impatient, but she didn't want to keep him around for long. Grace was a woman who suffered because of him. If Grace continued to suffer, this would be outrageous.
When Heinz saw Hermione turn around and leave, he immediately shot back, "Hermione, it's not difficult for me to find someone!"
"Yes." Hermione stood at the door and turned to look at Heinz. "It's easy for you, Mr Jones, but why is Grace avoiding you? You ignore your mistakes and you think it's appropriate for you to bully a woman."
Heinz frowned.
"Here's another advice," Hermione said. "A woman is willing to risk everything to marry you because of your relationship, and not your money. If you want to find a woman who wants your money, there are plenty everywhere in the world, but Grace isn't one of them."
Heinz's frown deepened and he started to walk towards Hermione. As he walked, there was an aura of tension surrounding him.
Hermione was not afraid and said, "You don't have to pester me. What I can say is that, instead of getting angry, Mr, Jones, it's better to think about it and how you should be more truthful and show more respect for Grace."
"She told you?" Heinz squinted at Hermione.
Hermione didn't admit nor deny it. She just stared at him coldly and said, "Mr. Jones, your priority now is to restore the relationship between you and Grace. You should know very well in your heart that you aren't dealing with it, but instead you're making a fuss here. This will make Grace feel that you are still unwilling to let go of the past."
Heinz was taken aback by what she said.
Hermione smiled faintly and said, "I'll take care of Grace for you. Please show some magnanimity and manners, and give her some space."
Heinz narrowed his eyes and said solemnly, "You'd better take good care of Grace. If anything happens to her, I'll hold you accountable."
"Okay, no problem." Hermione smiled.
Heinz turned and left.
Hermione looked at his shadow and sighed. "It's not too late for him yet. I hope he can properly handle it soon."
The Lawson family.
The Lawson family elders had already been discharged from the hospital and were now recuperating at home.
When Lester arrived, he knocked on the door and went into the house. Seeing Lester, Pearlyn greeted him warmly.
"Lester, what brings you here?" Pearlyn looked at her watch and said, "Shouldn't you be working at this time?"
"Hello, Auntie." Lester was very polite. "How have you and Uncle Lawson been lately?"
"Nathan is exercising every day while recovering," Pearlyn said. "I'm doing fine as well. Right now, we're all determined to work out."
"That's good." Lester smiled while trying to figure out how to talk about this matter.
Don't provoke the Lawson family's husband and wife. You have this to deal with. That's the root of the matter.
"Who is it?"
Just as she was speaking, Nathan's voice rang out from the room.
"It's Lester," Pearlyn said.
