True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 691

In the face of Jodie's unreasonable and hysterical behavior, Aaron felt despair. He looked at the woman in front of him with a sad look.

She wanted to end her life for another man, to which he didn't know how to face it.

"You said you wouldn't bully me. You said you would dote on me. How can you blame me now?" Jodie cried.

Her words stung Aaron's heart like a sharp sword.

It was so painful and suffocating.

"Enough!" Aaron reprimanded in a deep voice.

Nathan and Pearlyn were both stunned. They didn’t know what was happening as they were completely kept in the dark.

Jodie was stunned and tears welled up from her eyes. She looked at the man in front of her with a dull expression.

After a long time, Jodie came to her senses and cried, "Aaron, even you mistreat me!"

Aaron did not shrink back, nor did he make any distressed moves. "Jodie, don't tell me about these things again. Especially after you cut your wrists to commit suicide for another man, you are not qualified to tell me these things at all anymore. I have kept our promises, but you have violated them again and again."

"Jodie, what do you think I am?"

"Am I a tool to accompany you when you're lonely, or am I a back-up plan for you?"

"I'm a human. Have you ever thought about my feelings? You can't be so selfish. Do you understand?"

Jodie was stunned by the roar and paused for a moment. She quickly reacted and cried out, "Why are you so fierce to me? I never promised you anything. It was you who insisted on being with me. Since you want to be with me and know that I only have Heinz in my heart, why do you have to scold me like this? What did you do back then?"

Aaron's dark pupils dilated. "Jodie, it’s time for you to wake up!"

If he hadn't heard that Jodie had committed suicide that day, he wouldn't have come. He rushed over with anxiety and wanted to make sure that she was fine. However, what he saw was her wrists wrapped in white gauze. She attempted suicide for another man. The sight of it pained his eyes!

He had contributed a lot, but in the end, she still didn't cherish him.

Aaron self-mockingly said, "Because of you, I've become so petty and low. I've listened to every single thing you said. However, you still want to trample my dignity under your feet. You've gone too far. Jodie, this is wrong."

"You’ve done this voluntarily." Jodie shouted, "You have also got something out of it. You got me. What else do you want?"

"You are simply unreasonable." Aaron's eyes were full of sorrow. "I also hate myself. Why do I spoil you like this and listen to you? Even when you wanted me to buy a house in Hart Villa District, so that you can meet Heinz, I bought it without a second thought."

"Even after you are with me, you will look at Heinz at the back balcony. I can only bear it and even bought you a pair of binoculars to satisfy your perverted desire for peeping," Aaron continued.

"Jodie, when did I let you down? I even went to Alsburg just because you wanted to, but you lied to me. You said you divorced him. However, you didn't sign the divorce agreement."

"Jodie, tell me, when did I do something wrong to you?"

"I promise that I will love you all my life, but there was a precondition, wasn't there?"

"That is, you should have divorced Heinz six years ago, and we will get married after our stay in Alsburg for two years," Aaron yelled.

"At that time, you were at least a young doctor who was energetic and ambitious."

"Look at yourself now. Can you still recognize yourself?"

"If you love him, you can do it willingly. If you don't want to love him, don't pester him. However, you wanted to have something that is not yours, and that's why you are unhappy. How can you do this to yourself?"

Jodie was questioned and she was stunned. However, she just couldn't listen to his advice.
