True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 795

Jensen did not believe it.

This was because Aaron did not seem like an honest person. Especially after he dealt with him several times recently, Jensen could obviously feel that Aaron was very crafty and devious. Therefore, Jensen would not fully believe in Aaron's words and instead, he would try to be critical.

With a smile, Jensen looked at Aaron and said softly, "It seems that the relationship between all of you are quite good. Otherwise, how could you know their private lives in such detail?"

"I believe that Madam Lowe won't tell you that she had an ex-husband and even a daughter just because you are her doctor. Am I right, Dr. Clarke?"

Aaron frowned, with a gleam of light in his eyes. He looked back at Jensen and said, "I said we were friends. You haven't been abroad, have you?"

Jensen shrugged and nodded. "I have indeed never been abroad."

"Then it will be even more difficult for you to understand the relationship between us." Aaron seemed to have found some confidence. He continued to speak with a slight smile. "When we meet someone abroad who came from the same country, the feeling is similar to meeting our kin. You'll only understand that when you're in a foreign country."

"Maybe you haven't been abroad, so you can't understand this feeling. Madam Lowe had chatted with me for quite a moment due to loneliness and nostalgia. We were just like old friends gossiping about daily life."

"Good explanation," said Jensen. He knew that Aaron was thinking about a certain plan. He had always been guileful.

He also looked at Jensen with a smile and said confidently, "This is a fact."

"In that case, I think you must know who her daughter is," Jensen asked again.

Aaron did not pause and shook his head directly. "I don't know. I didn't ask her about that. I just feel that this is her personal problem, hence I don't have to ask. Due to our relationship in the past, I'll try to help her with anything I could except for those problems which are beyond my capabilities."

"Then I don't quite understand. Since you have said that there is a special feeling for you when you're abroad and you can talk to each other about private affairs such as divorce, why didn't you guys talk about who the daughter is then? Isn't it a bit too farfetched?" Jensen asked with a faint smile.

"Officer Charm, for your information, we'll listen to what they say and if they don't mention it, how can we ask it out of curiosity? Besides, what's her daughter's business with me? I don't want to know about her daughter. Don't you think so? What's more, it's the daughter of Madam Lowe and her ex-husband."

"Also, it would be a little disrespectful for Stephen if I went on and ask about it."

Jensen smiled and said, "I thought that it is no big deal to talk about divorce."

"Well, that's true. Stephen is a citizen of our country. He is not a foreigner. What do you think?"

"Dr. Clarke, let me ask you again seriously. Do you know Madam Lowe's daughter or not?" This time Jensen asked in a much more serious tone.

Aaron was also very calm. "I'm just a doctor. It's my duty to cure diseases and save people. There are no boundaries for that. I only regard people as either patients or friends." "Based on what you have said, you seem to be a chivalrous hero," Jensen said sarcastically.

"You don't have to mock me," Aaron was quite straightforward. "What I told you is the truth. You can listen to me or you can choose not to. I have told you everything I know."

"I'm afraid that only you'll know whether those are truths or lies," Jensen was no longer polite. "There will be a conclusion to the matter between you and Jodie. Now that the evidence is being pieced together, I think there will be more exciting moments ahead."

"Since you don't believe me, just lock me up. I'm yearning for freedom. If you don't believe my words, I can only stay here." Aaron spread his hands. "I can't do anything."

Jensen looked at him coolly. Suddenly, he showed a faint smile and said, "Dr. Clarke, do you really have no idea of Stephen's real name?"
