True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 796

At noon.

Alex called up Heinz and said, "Mr. President, Candace insisted on seeing you. She said that she knew it was you who imprisoned her."

"I won't," Heinz scoffed. "You tell her that I have countless ways to torture her. The suffering she is going through now is less than one in ten thousand as bad compared to what Grace had been through."

"Yes!" Alex added, "But it seems that she's unable to hold on any longer."

Heinz sneered. "She's used to pretending."

Alex was still a little hesitant and wanted to say something, but was interrupted by Heinz. "Remember what work you are doing? You won't advance any further if you're timid and overly cautious."

Immediately, Alex cleared his throat and clarified himself. "Alright, I understand. We won't let Candace sleep, nor will we care about what happens to her. Anyway, this woman is a total natural at acting. We will let her suffer and wear her temper down."

"That's it." Heinz quickly hung up.

The Heinz at his moment also hated Candace to her very bones and felt extremely vexed. She was the only woman in the world who could be so uncaring to her own child.

After receiving the order, Alex no longer worried about Candace.

He hung up the phone and soon went over to her.

He pushed open the door and walked in.

Candace was already in a very sorry state, with her hair in a mess. When she saw Alex, she immediately asked, "Have you found Heinz Jones?"

"Mr. Jones refuses to see you," Alex answered. "He told me to inform you that your suffering is less than one in ten thousand as bad compared to what Miss Smith had been through."

Upon hearing this, her shoulders instantly dropped, and she spat furiously, "Get out! What does he know? He knows nothing!"

Alex did not say a word and just looked at her, his gaze so cold and sharp as if he could not wait to poke a hole through Candace's body.

Candace gritted her teeth. "How long are you guys planning to lock me up?"

"Until your temper's all gone." Alex looked at her calmly and sighed. "However, I think it's impossible for you to have no temper, so you are likely to be locked up forever. Mr. Jones has countless ways to torture you."

Upon hearing this, Candace felt beyond exasperated. She twisted her eyebrows and ordered. "You, go and find Grace now. I warn you, I am Grace's mother. If Heinz pushes too far that I die in his hands, Grace will definitely be mad."

"No, she won't," Alex said. "Miss Smith said that if you are dead, everything will be over. She won't mourn over your death."

That of course was Alex's own statement. He became annoyed. Hence, he lied to Candace.

Candace's face turned pale, her becoming silent at once.

"Does she really not want to see me?" She wondered.

Alex looked at her with a slight smirk. He squatted down in front of her, blinked his eyes wittily, and said, "Oh, how sad is that? Now your son hates you and your daughter doesn't care about you. In this respect, you are such a failure. Tell me how you ended up like this. How pathetic."

"Scram!" Candace pointed at Alex's nose and shrieked.

Bang!

Alex raised his hand to her cheeks, and the strong force shoved her forward. "I've been showing you mercy by not hitting you, but you keep testing my patience. Okay, now I'll just give what you deserve since you're asking for it!"

After that, he applied his strength, and Candace's whole body was shoved to the ground.
