True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 801

Rosalie wa furious.

"You're still not breaking up with her yet? I know that her sister is having an affair with Heinz. Look, she's a mistress, her sister!"

Jensen quickly interrupted his mother's words. "Mom! You must have been paying attention to that old news. Since you're holding a grudge against them, I bet you won't notice the news that Jodie had betrayed Heinz. Even if you have seen it, you'll not admit to it. All you intend to do is to badger me into breaking up with Alice with that false news."

"Her sister is a mistress. Can she be a good person?"

"Her sister is not a mistress. You don't have to say anything more. I'm going to marry Alice," said Jensen in a cold voice.

Rosalie was dumbstruck, "What? You're going to marry her?"

Jensen said in a deep voice, "Yes. I'm getting the marriage certificate today. Where is our civil registry book?"

Rosalie was instantly filled with anger and she replied firmly, "That's impossible. You can't marry her. You'll find a better wife."

"I like Alice," Jensen went into the house to look for the civil registry book.

Rosalie stood up in a rush and followed him inside to stop him. "How dare you? Don't you dare marry her! I will definitely not allow that to happen. I've locked the civil registry book in the safe. I've been on guard since I found out that you're with her. I've changed its password. You won't be able to get the civil registry book now."

Jensen was filled with rage. He frowned and said, "Mom, you're too much."

Rosalie said disapprovingly, "You are going to get married to a woman I don't like. Do I still care whether I've gone too far or not?"

"What's wrong with Alice that you hate her so much?"

Rosalie said coldly, "She's coquettish. All she has done during the day is to sleep with you. What kind of good person could she be? I think she'll drain you off sooner or later."

Jensen took a deep breath and replied, "Mom, you have also been young. You should know that no one can stop young people when they are together. It is exactly why I want to be with Alice. You only blame Alice, but you don't complain about me. That's very unreasonable."

Rosalie sneered. "Humph! You don't have to tell me this. I know you don't regard me as a mother in your heart right now. Anyway, you can't get married to her. Without the civil registry book, you won't be able to do it."

Jensen squinted and he was looking at his mother in front of him with sorrowful eyes when he asked, "Mom, I'll ask you once more. Do you prefer to hand it over to me, or I'll have to do it using my own way?

"I won't give it to you," Rosalie said indifferently.

It looked like it had been decided.

Jensen stared intensely at her and said, "Mom, you seem to forget what I do. I could ask my colleague in the civil registration department to issue me a new civil registry book. I can get married at any time."

Rosalie frowned and she started to panic.

She suddenly raised her head, and her eyes met Jensen's gaze. She looked at him callously and said, "If you dare to marry her, I will kill myself today. I want your wedding anniversary to become the anniversary of my death."

Jensen was startled. It seemed that his mother was very resolute.

He also said in an antagonising tone, "What kind of coffin would you like? I can prepare it for you."

Rosalie's body staggered and her face turned green. She was overwhelmed with shame and vexation and she said, "Get lost. I don't want to see you anymore."

"Me too," Jensen said apathetically before he turned around and walked out.

When he got out of the house, he immediately called his father.

"Dad, I'm going to marry Alice today."

"Really?"

"Dad, you should come back and look after mom. She doesn't agree with me. I have to get the marriage certificate today. I'm afraid something will happen."

His father then replied, "Don't worry about that. I'll go home right now. You can go and get your marriage certificate with Alice. The earlier the marriage is settled, the earlier I can have a grandchild."

"Well, thank you, Dad. I'm leaving," Jensen choked with sobs when he was saying that. He really appreciated his father for his support,

His father smiled and said, "Son, I wish the two of you a lifetime of happiness. I'm very pleased that you're finally getting married. Just get the certificate first. As for the rest, we can take it slow."

"Yes," Jensen replied. Afterward, he hung up the phone and returned to the car. Then he called his friend at the civil registration department. "This is Jensen. My old friend, can you do me a favor? I've lost my civil registry book."

"We need your ID card."

"I'll get it for you right away."

"Then I'll get it done for you now and you can follow up with the formalities later."

"Thank you."

Soon, Jensen got a fresh, new civil register book. The scent of the rubber cover was still lingering.

He put it in his pocket and called his father. "Dad, have you reached home?"

"I'm back. Don't worry," said his father on the phone.
