True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 802

Alice looked at Jensen, and their eyes met each other, oozing with joyous feelings.

Alice said seriously, "Jensen, I too have always wanted to tell you my innermost thoughts before we get married. It's so that you know my thoughts about you, as well as my appreciation and gratitude towards you from the bottom of my heart."

Jensen's eyes widened, slightly stunned. He did not expect that Alice would say that. He shook his head and said.

"I don't want your thanks. I'm willing to do anything for you, and that's due to my feelings for you. I don't want anything in return for that. Maybe I'm selfish because I want all of your love. I want you to love me wholeheartedly without considering any other men. I hope that you can't live without me. This is my selfishness."

Alice put her hands on his arm, saying excitedly and nervously, "Jensen, listen. Although you approached me with a hidden motive at first, I can feel your patience towards me. You must know that I'm a very sensitive person after the psychological trauma."

"Only I know how much patience you have in order to get close to me, to approach me, and to accept me."

"In addition to that, how responsible you've been as well, trying hard to make up for the harm that you've done to me previously."

"I can feel all of these entirely when we are together."

"I know you’re a responsible man."

"Just like what had happened six years ago. In fact, there must be many who have experienced the same thing, after a one-night stand, just to be forgotten and to be disposed of. They’ re irresponsible and would never think of it again."

"Even if they've seen each other's faces, they could still act like total strangers, merely regarding it as an encounter to distract themselves from loneliness."

"You don't have to take responsibility either, but you couldn't stand your own conscience. You came to me and took accountability for what you've done."

"I knew you were a kind person then, and I'm very happy and lucky to marry you."

"Plus, I knew that your mother wouldn’t accept me, but we’ re still getting married thanks to your determination."

"I know very well that you're a terribly brave and courageous man."

"Why wouldn't I marry such a man?"

Hearing Alice's unexpected words, Jensen was extremely moved in his heart. His girl was all grown up.

His patience throughout these trying times was not in vain.

He knew that Alice would grow up and she would understand all of his efforts.

"Alice, you're a very good girl. You know that?" Jensen said sincerely with a huge grin.

Alice smiled slightly and continued. "Jensen, I still have a lot to say. Please let me finish them all at once."

"Go on, then." He grinned, intrigued and amused.

Alice nodded. "Yes, Jensen, listen. Your mother doesn't agree with our marriage. Although I feel sad and sorry, I still want to get married."

Jensen winced slightly at that sentence. Looking at her apologetic and remorseful eyes, he couldn't bear it and said, "It's my fault. I should have persuaded her better."

"No, Jensen. It's fair. My mother has approved of you. Although I don't care what my mother had said, it's fair. Therefore, don't feel sorry for me. I shouldn't feel sorry for you either."
