True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 829

They arrived home.

When Grace saw that Lowell was still upset, she held back from asking the questions that she had wanted to.

After entering the door, she looked at him and said, "Lowell, if you need anything, just let me know."

He shook his head, looked at her carefully and said, "No, Grace, I don't need anything." It seemed that he had something to say and his eyes were wider.

She was slightly surprised and she couldn't help but ask, "Lowell, what's wrong?"

"It's nothing," he said while shaking his head. It seemed that he wanted to say something but stopped.

Grace noticed that he had something to say, but she was unwilling to force him to tell the so- called 'secret'. For a child, it was really cruel to force him.

She smiled slightly and patted his shoulder before she said, "Lowell, go back to your room and rest for a while. Wash your hands and eat something. I'll give you twenty minutes to change your clothes and rest, okay?"

"Alright," Lowell said and nodded. He moved two steps and turned back. He stopped and looked back at her. Then, he asked, "Grace, is there anything you want to ask me?"

After a pause, she said with a smile, "No."

Lowell was curious. He looked at Grace and said in a low voice, "I thought you would have a lot to ask me or tell me about after seeing Mom."

She replied softly, "Lowell, I think you'll take initiative to tell me if you wish to do so. If you don't want to talk about it, I'll just make the situation worse for you."

"So, I won't ask you. If you want to talk to me about something, you can let me know when you are ready."

"Before that, none of us will force you. We will give you time, space, and freedom."

That was a guarantee from Grace.

Lowell looked at her in a daze and his eyes misted over. He seemed to be touched.

He gazed at her for a while before he said, "In fact, I know that Mom is ill. Maybe I didn't know that her illness was that severe, but I know that she has been taking medicine for a long time."

"I also guessed, but I didn't expect that she would have such a serious disease. She won't have much time left."

"She told me to please you and listen to you guys. If I did that, I wouldn't be asked to leave."

"In the beginning, I actually didn't want to come. Even if Mom was not good to me and she would yell at me, she was still my mother and I did not want to leave her."

"If I refused to come, she would leave me alone. As soon as she was away for a long time, I would be scared."

"Before I came, she told me that if I didn't come to see you, she would leave me forever and never see me again."

"That's why I'm here."

"I felt that I had nowhere else to go."

"But I lied to you. I didn't tell you all the facts." "Mom told me that my father can't raise me. He's old and his living conditions weren't suitable for me to go over there. His place is not suited for me. She hoped that I could live a stable life."

"She also said that you will never let me be alone because you have two children. I could grow up with my little nephews and you would treat me well."
