Vincent responded with a noncommittal hum. His eyes remained fixed on Tiffany.

Following his gaze, Kelly smiled politely and greeted Tiffany. "Tiffany."

Tiffany lowered her head and calmed her emotions before walking over. "Mr. Lewis, Ms. Harrison. I'm here to pick up Teresa."

"Teresa?" Kelly's expression turned awkward. "I'm afraid it might take a while before this is resolved. The food Teresa made caused the food poisoning. She has to take responsibility for this."

Tiffany's pupils contracted. "I believe in Teresa. She wouldn't poison anyone. It must be a problem with the ingredients!"

"Tiffany, I understand how you feel, but the police came to collect evidence. And they did find harmful substances in the food Teresa made. She can't escape this responsibility."

"Can I see the document?" Tiffany asked.

Alex glanced at Vincent first, who had no objection, before handing the bail document to Tiffany.

Tiffany took a look. The bail amount was two thousand dollars!

"The money…"

"Oh, I paid for it," Alex answered.

Tiffany nodded. "Thank you, Mr. Zander. I'll transfer the money to you later."
