Teresa couldn't work as a nutritionist at Vincent's home anymore.
Eric didn't hesitate to scold her. He had been treating her horribly these days.
Teresa felt guilty and remorseful. She lost her appetite and couldn't sleep well.
When she went downstairs to throw the trash in the morning, she almost got hit by a car.
The garbage fell to the ground, and the car barely stopped in time. It brushed against her knee before coming to an abrupt halt.
The car door opened, and someone walked over. The exquisite leather shoes caught Teresa's eye.
Before the person could speak, Teresa hurriedly apologized. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry…"
"Are you a professional scammer?" A deep, mocking voice mixed with a hint of amusement sounded from above.
Teresa was speechless.
The man crouched in front of her and grabbed her hands as she was picking up the garbage. He frowned and said, "God didn't give you such beautiful hands to pick up trash!"
His grip was strong as he held her wrists firmly.
Teresa looked up and stared at the man in front of her. "It's you."
It was the fierce-looking man!
"I'm Leon Bolton. Remember that," He suddenly introduced himself, leaving Teresa feeling bewildered.
She felt a bit scared and shrank her hand back when she recalled what happened last time. "I lied to you only to protect myself back then. You're not still concerned about that, are you?"
Concerned? Did he show up here several times just to intimidate her?
Leon stared into her eyes and asked, "Do I look like a bad person to you?"
Teresa nodded sincerely. "You definitely don't look like a good person!"
Who would think a good person would look so fierce?
She felt that Leon's appearance could easily scare the passing children into tears.
