Teresa was startled. "Didn't you go to the company?"
Eric noticed her nervousness and grabbed Teresa's wrist. "What are you doing at home all day? So you're sneaking around behind my back with another man? You think you can fool me, Teresa?"
Teresa blushed at his words. "You're talking nonsense!"
"Nonsense? Alright. Explain to me who this man is then."
"I…" Teresa opened her mouth but didn't know what to say. After all, she and Leon barely knew each other.
"You slut!" Eric raised his hand, about to slap Teresa.
Suddenly, a hand grabbed Eric's wrist high mid-air.
Leon instinctively shielded Teresa behind him. He scanned Eric's gaunt face with disdain and contempt. It was as if he could easily crush Eric.
Eric wasn't as tall or as strong as Leon.
The two confronted each other, and Eric couldn't move Leon at all despite exerting all his strength. He couldn't even release his hand from Leon's hold.
Eric dropped his briefcase and tried to attack with his other hand.
Leon's eyes narrowed, and he twisted Eric's wrist lightly.
There was a crack, and Eric froze for a second before bursting into a painful howl. He collapsed to the ground like trash while writhing in pain when Leon let go.
Teresa trembled as she watched the scene unfold.
Leon realized something and turned back before taking a step toward her.
"Don't come any closer!" Teresa's face was full of fear. She took a step back and bumped into the sharp corner of the shoe cabinet, which caused a sharp pain in her lower back.
Leon could tell that she was afraid. He said, "Men who hit women don't deserve sympathy."
Teresa bit her lip. "He's my husband, and this is our family matter. Sir, please wash your hands and leave immediately!"
Leon frowned. The killing intent emanating from him was enough to kill everything in seconds.
"I'll call the police if you don't leave!" Teresa threatened.
