Coralie and Skylar took Hendric home.

Hendric drank some milk to relieve his hunger, and Coralie made some pasta for him, along with many other dishes. They had a lavish dinner.

While having dinner, Hendric looked at Coralie and asked, "Mom, I don't have to go to Grandma's house anymore, right?"

"Yes, we don't have to do that anymore, I promise."

Coralie patted Hendric's head and promised.

Hendric nodded excitedly, took a big bite of pasta, and said, "You cook the most delicious food."

"As long as you like it."

Coralie was satisfied to see that Hendric was eating.

Skylar looked at Hendric and explained to Coralie, "You're blaming me, aren't you? Because I've left Hendric with my mother for a few days."

Hearing Skylar's words, Coralie lowered her head.

Of course, she blamed Skylar, but she didn't want to be angry with him.

Seeing that Coralie had fallen silent, Skylar said, "If she had never taken care of Hendric herself and gotten a taste of it, she would've spoken matter-of-factly every time we talked about this. After this incident, I'm sure that she would never interfere when it comes to Hendric ever again. She also wouldn't bring up the topic of taking care of Hendric anymore."

Skylar explained.

After listening to his explanation, Coralie said, "You were taking a gamble. What if Hendric was locked in the washing machine today and accidentally pressed the wrong buttons?"

"Our son is blessed with great fortune. Nothing will happen to him."

Skylar replied.

Hendric was eating noodles happily by himself. When he found out that his parents were upset about what had happened, he said in a childish voice, "Mom, I will be obedient."

Coralie turned and saw that Hendric was holding his small bowl with both hands. He raised his head and drank all the soup in the bowl. She smiled with gratification and asked him, "Is it delicious? Do you want more?"

"Yes, please."

Hendric nodded.

She had made this especially for Hendric, but she didn't cook much of it. Seeing that Hendric still wanted to eat, Coralie quickly stood up and poured the rest that was in the pot into his bowl.

Skylar saw that Coralie had not responded to him and immediately continued, "Son, your mom is angry with me because I left you with your grandmother. Please help me out."

Coralie was in the kitchen serving Hendric pasta when she heard Skylar seeking help from Hendric.

She couldn't help but burst into laughter.

"Who allowed you to use Hendric like that?"

Coralie came out with a bowl of pasta and looked at Skylar, who was standing next to Hendric while talking to him.

"Mom, I'm sorry."

When Hendric saw Coralie coming out, he looked up and apologized to her with a serious expression.

"It is alright. What did you do?"

Coralie didn't understand why Hendric wanted to apologize. She had just subconsciously told him that it was alright.

Beside him, Skylar was also puzzled.

As both of them were puzzled, Hendric looked at Coralie and explained, "I'm apologizing on behalf of my father. If you forgive me, could it be considered that you forgave him too, please?"

"Huh?"

Coralie hadn't expected that Hendric would've thought of this. She looked over at Skylar in exasperation, speechless.

Hendric saw that Coralie was still silent. He asked again, "Is that okay, Mom?"

"Alright, alright. If you finish all this, I'll forgive him."

As Coralie spoke, she placed the bowl of pasta in front of Hendric.

"Alright."

After saying that, Hendric picked up the little fork and began to eat.

Coralie looked at Hendric eating the pasta. She then looked at Skylar and said, "You've fallen to the point where your son has to apologize for you."

"Mainly because my status is inferior to my son's."
