Skylar observed all of this. He stood on the stairs and he had already guessed what Coralie was holding.

He got off work a little earlier today, and Coralie had asked him to come back earlier. He didn't think much about it and brought Valerie's gift back. Usually, he would receive gifts from Valerie during festive seasons, and he would bring them home and put them aside.

This time, Coralie saw the gift before he could keep it away.

After Coralie threw away her scarf, she felt a little regretful. When she wanted to take it out again, Skylar had already entered the kitchen.

He saw a black garbage bag in the corner, and it could be seen from the shape that the box was inside.

"Didn't you just bring that back from the company? Why did you throw it away?"
