Alpha Clause novel Chapter 7

"I do too, but how are we going to survive through today? You seem to be losing control." She said as she gestured to his amber colored eyes.

"Oh baby, I am still very much in control." He said as he flashed her a lopsided smile that made her shiver delightfully.

"Then why are your eyes amber, your wolf's eye color?"

"I am a Lycan, I can be both wolf and man at the same time. The change in my eye color shows how close my wolf is to the surface. He can't wait to mark you, Fay."

She let out a breath as she tried to calm herself and her own wolf. But the way he kept talking and the way he kept saying her name kept making her hot all over and wanting to mate with him. "I can also feel my wolf pushing me closer to you."

"I am very glad I have such an effect on you." He said as he took her hand, interlacing it with hers. He glanced at their hands before looking back at her face, "But now, you need to sleep for the night. Tomorrow is a big day for us."

She smiled at him as she replied, "Yes, it is."

His lips tugged up in a smile too as he led her out of the closet and back to the room. After they walked out of the closet, she stared at the large bed in the middle of the room before looking. "Are we going to sleep together on the bed?"

He looked at her, "No, I may have strong self-control, but I do not think that I can sleep while trying to keep my wolf at bay the whole night when I am laying right beside you."

"Yes, that would be hard and I don't think that I can do it either. But where will you be sleeping?"

"There are many empty rooms on this floor so I'll be sleeping in the one after this one." He replied as he released her hand. "I'm going to go now, I'll see you in the morning."

"Okay, good night." She murmured.

He leaned his face closer to hers and pressed a kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes as she felt his lips touch her skin.

"Good night, my one." He murmured back and when she opened her eyes, he was gone.

The door was still open, Fay walked to it and closed it. She turned back around and made her way to the closet to pick out the pajamas she would wear to sleep.
