Bride Behind the Mask novel Chapter 703

Yuna was almost nose to nose with Marguerite, her forehead shiny from a recent Botox touch-up nearly bumping into Marguerite's head.

Why does it feel like this woman got another cosmetic procedure?

Her cheeks and chin were swollen, making her profile resemble a crescent moon, her chin sharp enough to poke someone. Probably because she often gets lost in her delusions, her appearance had taken on a haggard look.

No wonder Stella suspected her of having a mental disorder.

"Marguerite! Are you even listening to me? I told you to fire her! Fire her!"

Yuna slammed her hand on the desk, making a loud noise.

Marguerite jolted back to reality, seeing Yuna pointing at Violet, her long nails almost poking into her eyes.

Suppressing her anger, Marguerite calmly shielded Violet, her tone firm yet respectful.

"Violet and I report directly to the director. If you want her fired, you should speak to Frederick."

"Don't you dare use Freddie to intimidate me!"

Her voice was hoarse from shouting, her gaze moving past Marguerite's shoulder to Violet, then leaned in towards Marguerite, nervously saying:

"Marguerite! Don't you think Violet is eerie? I'm telling you, she's possessed by spirits!"

Marguerite's gaze was calm, with a hint of disdain:

"Can you not?"

"I'm not joking! My mom and your grandma, they're all clinging to her! Every time I see her, I get chills! Do you understand what that feels like?"

Yuna was pacing around frantically, prompting Marguerite to whisper to Violet, "Go get security."

Violet nodded and quickly left the office.

But then, Yuna turned around suddenly, and when her eyes met Violet's, she was visibly shaken. She pointed at Violet, trembling, her eyes filled with fear.

"Marguerite! Look at Violet! My mom... my mom is hugging her right now, even sticking out her tongue at me! Her tongue is so long, like a zombie's! Marguerite, look, she's hopping towards me! Ah—"

Yuna covered her ears, squatting down, screaming.
