Captive Hearts: The Tycoon's Ugly Bride novel Chapter 69

Chapter 69 Going Crazy

"Forget it, I'm not going to transfer the money to you after all." Blanche suddenly put away her phone.

"Have you finally come to your senses?"

"I think I should buy another identical bottle and give it back to you."

Louis' hand hanging at the side of his trousers tightened. This woman was undoubtedly challenging him.

Without noticing Louis' expression, she continued in a jealous tone, "Who did you buy this perfume for? Cathy? You're so considerate that you even buy such small things for her."

"Blanche, if you have nothing useful to say, then don't say anything. No one is treating you as a mute," Louis finally snapped, unable to bear it any longer.

He forced Blanche back against the railing.

"What do you want?" Blanche asked nervously in the cramped space.

Louis raised his hand and gripped Blanche's chin, his eyes flashing with fire.

Blanche immediately raised her hand, trying to knock off his hand, but to no avail.

Her chin was lifted higher and higher until she had to stand on tiptoe. This uncontrollable feeling made Blanche lose her composure.

In his dark eyes, she saw a miniature version of herself, who looked like a pitiful clown.

"Do you remember that time at the bar, when we were playing dice? Are your legs not sore anymore?"

His words ignited a familiar sense of shame and caused Blanche's legs to tremble slightly.

She wanted to say something, but she found it difficult to speak in that posture.

As soon as she opened her mouth, it was like a fish blowing bubbles.

"Don't talk to me like that again. Otherwise, I don't mind playing the game with you again. If we do, I won't go easy on you," Louis warned, admitting that he had deliberately messed with her during their last game of dice.

Blanche felt as if she had been slapped, her cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Their standoff was interrupted by a sudden noise from the side.

"Tsk-tsk, we were trying to sleep, and you two are having a secret rendezvous here. It's so stimulating," Eric exclaimed, scrolling through the photos he had taken on his phone.

As soon as he spoke, the two pairs of eyes that could have killed him on the spot immediately shot over to him, causing his hand to shake in fear.

"Sorry, I talk too much. Please continue, but let me observe and learn a bit about physiology."

Blanche's face turned bright red. She stepped on Louis' shoe, pulled his hand away from her chin, and glared at Eric.

"It's not like you think. There's something wrong with your eyes. Delete the photo."

Eric glanced sideways at her. "Blanche... Are you shy?"

Blanche felt devastated. Was he blind?

The sneaky look in his eyes made him look like a moron. It was pointless to argue with him, so she ran away.

"Delete the photo," Louis demanded, shooting him a warning look.

"Why? You're finally in love with someone, and I will show the sweet photo to Grandma to prove to her that her grandson isn't in a sham marriage. He is really in love with his wife."

"Don't talk nonsense."

"Am I? Alas, Blanche's legs are really..."

Eric was about to say the word "white" when Louis slapped his phone limited edition to the ground and stepped on it with his leather-clad foot.

"Come on, bro, do you really need to be so protective? I haven't even finished speaking. I just wanted to say that it looks like Blanche got bitten by a mosquito."
