Captive Hearts: The Tycoon's Ugly Bride novel Chapter 7

Chapter 7 Sleeping on the Sofa

When Louis came out of the bathroom in a bathrobe with wet hair, Blanche had fallen asleep.

Only then did he realize he had no place to sleep if she slept in his bed? After all, he could never share the bed with the ugly woman.

When he held back his anger and walked to the side, he found her sleeping appearance was sweet. She was wearing a mask, but her exposed skin was impeccable. Her beautiful eyes were closed, her long eyelashes looked like butterfly wings, and her forehead was smooth.

Seeing her sleeping so soundly, he paused before stretching out his hand to pull her up. She was sleeping like a gentlewoman.

He suddenly recalled how she had looked like when she had intended to take off her mask in the living room and suspected whether the face under the mask was as ugly as her vicious heart. After all, the revealed part of her face made her look like a beauty.

Louis subconsciously reached for her mask. The closer his hand got, the more it trembled. And he didn't know when he had become so indecisive.

When he finally touched the mask and was about to tear it off, the sleeping person suddenly opened her eyes in confusion. Seeing his handsome face, she asked, "What are you doing?"

Louis immediately withdrew his hand, feeling guilty for the first time.

"I wanted to wake you up and ask you to sleep on the sofa."

Hearing this, Blanche looked at the sofa. Although it was big, it was not as comfortable as the bed. She knew that he would not sleep in the same bed as her and that one of them would sleep on the sofa tonight. Therefore, she had gone to bed early to occupy the bed. But she had not expected him to wake her up.

The quilt was warm. Blanche rested her head on the soft pillow and tightly held the quilt with both hands, saying, "No. I'm sleepy. You go to sleep on the sofa."

Louis narrowed his eyes when a strange emotion flashed across his heart. Blanche was acting like a child who refused to get up in the morning and threw a temper tantrum with him.

But he instantly regained his indifference, coldly stared at her with black eyes, and said, "Do you know who you are talking to? Believe it or not, I will throw you out and let you sleep at the door."

Blanche bit her lower lip, let go of the quilt, and slowly sat up. After all, she couldn't confront him head-on.

As soon as she walked to the sofa with the quilt, the room plunged into darkness with a snap. She stamped her foot in anger because she had not made the bed yet.
