There was a commotion at the door, and Eric walked in, looking disheveled. He dropped a meeting report on Louis' desk. 

"This is the meeting content. Check it." 

Louis flipped through it a few times and put it down, neither praising nor criticizing. 

"Aren't you going to praise me? I took these notes seriously." 

"The lettering is too crude. I can not read it." 

"Forget it. Don't ask me to do this kind of thing again. If you do, I'll bring a gun and shoot the meeting host. Listening to those meetings is as annoying as listening to the scripture recitation, giving me a headache." 

Eric pulled out a chair and sat down. "By the way, what's going on with Genesis Enterprises? They seem quite powerful." 

"What have you heard?" Louis looked at Eric with deep eyes. 

"Don't you know? I heard it from people from a local gang. They've threatened to kill your family if you don't sign a contract with them this time. You better handle this matter properly. I don't know if it included me when they said those words." 

"Kill my family?" Louis slowly uttered these words with a sneer on his face. 

"People from Genesis Enterprises dare to make such statements publicly." Sam clenched his fist, and his face turned serious. 

"I heard it when I was drinking in a bar. Rumor has it that the backer behind Genesis Enterprises is very powerful. They've been in control of the underground in Epearn and are known for their ruthlessness." 

As Eric spoke, he became more serious. He had been in the business world for several years and was observant and cautious. He knew that the person behind Genesis Enterprises must be quite capable. 

"They pretend to be polite and invite us for a meeting, but secretly threaten to destroy us. Mr. Herbart, we should not meet them, should we? Let's show them our power and teach them a lesson," Sam suggested. 

Louis nonchalantly tapped his knee. "Hmph! We should meet them." 

Eric gave Louis a thumbs-up and stroked his chin with a smile on his face. "You deserve to be my brother. You have been fearless since you were a child." 

Suddenly, there was a loud thunderclap, and Eric remembered seeing Blanche standing in the rain when he arrived.
