Chapter 44 Kicking Him Out by Ability
Tina secretly avoided Victor's hand, exchanged pleasantries with him, and hurried back to the office. Then, she bumped into Coco who came back after making a phone call. Tina hurriedly put down her bag and went up to inquire about Victor's weird reaction.
Hearing her words, Coco said, "It seems he's targeting you."
Tina's heart skipped a beat, and she asked, "What do you mean?"
Coco folded her arms over her chest, leaned against the desk, and whispered "Before you came, Lydia and Faye were always at the bottom of the list in terms of performance. Sometimes, they couldn't even sell a car for a month. But you inspired them after you came. And they each sold a sports car this month."
Thinking for a while, Tina was still at a loss, so she asked, "Will I be punished if I'm at the bottom this month?"
"Victor goes on a business trip every few months, and the salesperson with the lowest performance will have to go with him. Lydia has gone several times," Coco said and shot a glance at a woman not far away.
Tina followed her gaze and saw the long-haired woman wearing glasses in the corner. Although her appearance was average, she had an elegant temperament.
Coco patted Tina on the shoulder and said in a worried tone, "You'd better figure out a way to improve your performance. You've sold three cars, so I guess it's not that hard for you, right?"
Tina was still ill and had no energy to work now, so she could only force a smile and tell her she would try her best. Coco then nodded, picked up her bag, and went out to meet a client.
When Tina returned to her seat, she began to regret stopping Walter from buying the car. She would rather owe him a favor rather than go on a business trip with Victor alone.
She felt anxious and had a stomach upset, so she kept drinking warm water in the company. It was not until the afternoon that she went to the shopping mall nearby and bought some porridge.
When she went back to the office after the meal, she found everyone gathering in the meeting room. When she pushed the door open and went in, she heard Victor's wrap-up.
"Let's call it a day. Everyone has worked hard this month." Seeing Tina coming in through the back door, he said, "Tina, you're new here but have a good performance this month. Although you're at the bottom of our department, you don't need to worry too much. I believe you will get better in the future."
Hearing this, everyone applauded, and Tina nodded politely. But she felt her colleagues were looking at her with weird looks.
As soon as she got up after the meeting ended, Victor stopped her.
"Tina, get ready to go on a business trip with me at nine o'clock tomorrow morning."
Tina was so shocked that she did not know what to say to refuse. When she could open her mouth, Victor had already left.
She signed, feeling her stomach starting to hurt again. When she suppressed the panic in her heart and walked outward, someone pulled her back. Looking back, she found it was Lydia.
"Don't sleep too soundly at night. Make sure you lock the door," Lydia whispered and then left the conference room with a calm face.
