Caught in Love With My Previous CEO novel Chapter 61

Chapter 61 It Was Actually Her

Tina packed her bags and went back to Xesxia that night. Victor tried to get her to stay, but she turned him down and insisted on getting back quickly before anything else could happen. Victor had already suspected that the competitor had played a dirty trick against them, so he let Tina go back after thinking about it for a second.

Tina hadn't slept well in the last two days. She got on the plane, and without Victor by her side, she let her guard down and fell asleep until the plane landed.

At three in the morning, Tina took a cab back home and kept alert all the way.

Exhausted, she got out of the car and walked feebly in the direction of home.

Suddenly, Tina looked up and saw the light on upstairs. She thought she was wrong, double-checked it, and finally found that it was the light on the floor of her home.

Tina was the only occupant on that floor, and there shouldn't be any lights on.

Just to be on the safe side, Tina dragged her bags to the café across the street and watched people coming in and out of that building.

It was almost dawn, and there were indeed people coming out of the building she lived in. There were six people, and all of them were strangers. Tina recognized the man who took the lead. It was Louis' bodyguard.

Her heart sank. She couldn't help but clutch the handle of her suitcase, and she raced through her mind as to what she should do.

Tina had a hard time getting Samuel to agree to protect her once. It would be a pity if she used this only chance and asked Samuel to help her. If she decided to deal with Louis, she would have to take risks and do immoral things.

Damn it!

Tina was so torn up that her head hurt, and she couldn't help but curse under her breath. She put her head on the desk, with her arms over it to calm herself down.

The morning sun shone into the café, reminding Tina that another night had passed. She felt like she was going to break down. Even if she got through this, there were endless problems ahead of her.

"If only I had a grandfather who was a military commander and a father who was a chairman of the board." Tina couldn't help squinting her eyes and fantasizing about it.

"Miss?" The waiter's voice shattered Tina's dream.

Tina came back to her senses, smiled apologetically at the waiter, and ordered two cakes.

Sweet food made people happy, and Tina appeared calm and collected then.

She calmly dragged her bags to the company and kept her guard up as she entered. She didn't go in until she made sure no one was inside.

"Tina, how did you get back so soon?" Tiffany made a show of covering her mouth in surprise.

Tina ignored Tiffany and dragged her bags into the office, pouring herself a cup of coffee.

Tiffany didn't care that Tina gave her the cold shoulder. Tiffany walked behind her, asking about what Tina had gotten out of the business trip.

Tina sneered in her heart. Victor was insatiable. He was not only involved in a sexual relationship with Tiffany but also tried to get in bed with Tina. Tina had no choice but hit him hard.

"You get a lot of benefits from going on a business trip with Mr. Miller. You don't have to worry about your performance this month."
