Caught in Love With My Previous CEO novel Chapter 70

Chapter 70 She Was Targeted

Tina wanted to know whether Samuel had offended Sylvia recently. She needed to understand why Sylvia had suddenly appeared by her side, just in case.

As soon as she finished speaking, Samuel said in a displeased tone, "She has nothing to do with me now."

Tina felt even more confused and asked, "Did she upset you again?"

He indifferently replied, "She's going to get married. She will have nothing to do with the Langford family soon."

Tina thought about it and soon guessed Sylvia's insistence on marrying Samson might have hurt the interests of the Langford family.

She asked, "Did Mr. Lawson agree to marry her?"

Samuel felt displeased and said, "It is none of your business!"

Tina touched her nose, and she had indeed asked too many questions. It was customary for Samuel to suspect her.

She cleared her throat and said, "I'm sorry to sound so officious. She ordered a car from me yesterday, so I'm a little curious."

"She ordered a car from you?" Samuel frowned, sneering, "She probably wants you to work for her."

His words sent shivers down her spine, and she knew she got in trouble.

Samuel sarcastically added, "But you will have trouble if you work for her."

Tina swallowed hard, bit the bullet, and bluntly asked, "You will not get angry with me if I offend her, right?"

He said word by word, "I told you she has nothing to do with me now."

She closed her eyes, felt relieved, and replied, "I see."

Samuel impatiently urged, "Is there any more nonsense? If not, I will hang up!"

Tina silently spat into the air but still forced a smile and said, "No more. I know you're busy. Thank you for ..."

Beep!

He hung up the phone before she could finish speaking.

He was a jerk!

Tina grabbed her phone in anger. She had nowhere to vent her anger, so she could only swallow it. Then, she turned her grief and anger into appetite, ate everything on the table, and took a taxi to the company.

People were exhausted and sleepy at two in the afternoon. As soon as Tina entered the door, everyone turned to look at her.

"Good afternoon, Tina."

Several colleagues who had never spoken to her took the initiative to say hi. Most of them were older than her, but they all sounded respectful.
