Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1347

Elliott's eyes welled up slightly. "I'm such a failure, always causing you trouble."

"We're family; it's not a big deal." Emily chuckled, squatting down to talk to Kya. "I actually liked your previous little dress better. Shall we switch it back?"

A little disappointed, Kya asked, "Am I not Uncle Elliott's flower girl anymore?"

Emily was surprised that Kya understood; she said with a smile, "Kya, you're still too little; you might get scared on stage. Elliott cares about you, so he doesn't want you to be a flower girl anymore."

Kya looked a bit puzzled, but she obediently said, "Okay, I won't be a flower girl anymore."

Feeling a pang in his heart, Elliott picked up Kya and forced a smile. "Kya, you look really pretty in this princess dress. There is no need to change it. I've also got a present for you."

Elliott took out a gift box from his pocket for Kya. "Here you go."

"Thank you!" Kya grinned, showing off her white teeth.

Emily took Kya and said with a smile, "It's about time. We still need to drop by the Ferber family. You better get going."

Just then, someone called for Elliott outside. He nodded. "I'll be going first. See you later."

"Okay!" Emily, reminiscing about their childhood days together, suddenly felt a mix of emotions as Elliott was about to get married. Her eyes moistened. "Elliott, I hope you'll be happy!"

Elliott hugged Emily tight and said, "Whether I get married or not, you'll always be my proudest little sister! You'll find your own happiness too!"

"I will!" Emily choked up. "Go ahead, don't keep the bride waiting too long."

Elliott let go of Emily and turned to leave, feeling increasingly heavy-hearted.
